Fox & Friends (Lieberman may caucus with the GOP)
3 November 2006 | Erik Latranyi

Fox & Friends this morning are reporting that Lieberman may caucus with the GOP if he wins re-election to the Senate from Connecticut as an Independent.

This may be the reason why Bush and many prominent Republicans are singing the praises of Senator Joe Lieberman.

No - it will only hurt Lieberman's chances, as some of his Democrat support will go back to Lomant.

In that case may I be the first to say, Welcome home, Joe. I wonder if he will bring the Jewish vote with him.

I was figuring the same thing..the ultra left's disdain for Lieberman might have planted that story line just to draw votes for lament whos trailing badly.

Lieberman remains a far-left radical extremist. He has voted for liberal issues 95 per cent of the time in Congress.

He votes farther to the left than Teddy Kennedy. He is dedicated to a socialist America.

This is the man President Bush praises. No wonder Bush has lost so much of his conservative base.

Zell's better. Zell still wants a duel with Chrissy Softball.

The same is true of Lincoln Chafee, yet he caucuses with the GOP!

I hope the Pubbies don't count their rodents too soon. Lieberman also said he wouldn't help Algore to to disenfranchise military voters.

But what I really want to know is happened to that bull that was running around Newark, NJ?

I seriously doubt it.

And it would be foolish to make it known now, as it would hurt his chances in Connecticut.

(Sounds like a Lamont "dirty trick".)

Anyone who thinks Lieberman will caucus with the Republicans are kidding themselves. Joe will drop this whole 'independent' farce and be back with the party within six months, mark my words. Less, if the Democrats take the Senate.

Did Joe really say so? I don't think he will be. If he plans, I don't think he'd say it now. This may be Dims' strategy to boost Lamont.

I am having some difficulty believing this. He is going to appear on Imus this morning. Perhaps something will be said about this.
