The Kerry gaffe just happened to be caught on a video from a local TV broadcast. Had that recording not been made, the whole current Kerry gaffe might never have made headlines.

It's a good thing they taped it because, as he said, this is the kind of information most of the media try to cover up. That is a very telling comment from Kerry. And Demonrats do this all the time. It takes the strong effort of conservatives/Republicans to get the truth out there and this is the case of the media being shown to be on the Demonrat bandwagon yet again and trying to suppress this story but the internet and talk radio, Fox News showing fair and balanced news is what got this out there.
Mark for later
Kerry needs to now aplologize for calling people crazy during his press conference.
Had that recording not been made, the whole current Kerry gaffe might never have made headlines.I wonder if there are any other tapes that caught Kerry delivering the same slanderous remarks about our military, proving what we all know to be true -- that it was no "botched joke."
What is important is how this thing spread throughout the Internet and talk radio until the John Kerry's wretched career, or at least his presidential aspirations, is hopefully over.
Ziegler himself is an engaging personality and I expect that Fox will try to pick him up as soon as possible.
"That is a very telling comment from Kerry."
Actually, I'm sort of suprised at the commotion.
It was just the same old John Kerry.
Speaking for a fair chunk of the Democratic Party.
He also needs to apologize to Imus for not just leaving.
Kerry's lame excuse, that he was telling a joke about Bush, makes no sense.
Kerry said (paraphrasing), "You will do well if you are smart and you study."
Bush has achieved a more important political position than anyone else in the world...two times.
Where's the beef joke?
You're right in that it is the same old, same old but it just goes to show his line of slander against the military is the way the Demonrat party looks at the military and defense matters. And the way in which this has gotten out to the public is all the better because it reminds people who don't follow politics as much what the Demonrats offer.
Kerry's elitist arrogance is unbounded, it seems.
He had his chance to apologize! He didn't!
Instead, he defiantly argued that his intended target was the Commander in Chief, claiming that he intended to "joke" that if these young people didn't study and achieve scholastically, then they, too, might one day become President and get America "stuck in Iraq."
How stupid is that?
Such a lame excuse reveals an even more hollow head, accompanied by extreme arrogance!

Is there a full text of Kerry's speech somewhere? His apologists claim he botched a joke and was taken out of context. Okay, where's the context. Was he talking about Bush just prior to that line? I doubt it. Did he immediately correct his alleged botched joke at the speech? No --- he didn't come up with that excuse until Ziegler made a point of it. Frankly, I'm even more offended that Kerry would insult the intelligence of the voters by thinking we would buy his lie.
I'm surprised the left hasn't tried to shut down youtube.
I agree.
Kerry needs to resign!!!!!!!!!!
