The news media is using the Imus interview as an apology. This is a crock of crap. No official apology was stated.It's as legit as his signed SF-180. But the media pretended that was real as well.

Hours ago my local radio station was reporting Kerry apologized. What they are talking about is Kerry saying on Imus that he's sorry he botched the joke.
He never said sorry for the joke only that he "botched" it.

Doesn't take much imagination to know what Kerry thought of his fellow soldiers in Vietnam. John WAS SUPERIOR, educated and wealthy.
Wouldn't be surprised if someone told Kerry the three wound rule just to get rid of him.
I think the Swiftboat dudes were saying it like it was. Kerry be damned. Get rid of him. He was no good to them.
