"Rat-toberfest" or "Rovember" - FReepers speculate on what the last minute "Surprise" will be...

OK, we've all seen how cooperative the rats have been in handing conservatives issues with which to pound them senselessly just prior to the election. Still, we haven't seen them toss any real electoral "bombs" just yet. Perhaps we were able to defuse them as with the "Foley no-sex and tossed out on his sorry tail" scandal. OTOH, it's good to see John "Treason" Kerry working overtime to ensure the GOP GOTV effort is working at peak efficiency.

I don't believe for a second that we've seen the sleeziest weapons in their arsenal revealed just yet. What are they planning? Are they going to receive an endorsement from Osama himself or is Osama waiting for Hillary '08?

What do FReepers think the last minute surprise will be?

So will this be remembered as "Rat-toberfest" or "Rovember"?

This isn't paranoia, we know the rats will unvail some false charge at the last minute. We'll have to counter it just as we are going into the weekend and the Sunday morning talk show cycles.

We will need to be able to respond to any last minute rat-lies with lightening-like speed. I suggest that all FReepers prepare to counter any last minute attacks the rats have planned.

Kerry effectively torpedoed them with his comments on the military.

Considering nearly 40% are voting absentee the effectiveness of last day surprises are losing their strength. Many people have already voted and can't change it.

Kerry effectively torpedoed them with his comments on the military.

I've read the transcripts and I've read what he was "allegedly" supposed to say. His references to the POTUS and the troops was ambiguous at best. The words were carefully crafted so that they could be construed EITHER WAY. That's how the rats work. He was dancing on the fine line to give both leftists AND the BASE MOONBATS red meat in his speech.

AND HE SCREWED THAT UP, TOO. It's not what he meant to say, it's what he said. Even if someone can argue it's ambiguous, it still hit home as an insult. And if we take his words and apply them to the President, it's doesn't make a bit of sense at all. President Bush not only received a higher education and GPA via a higher I.Q. than John Kerry, he has exhibited a greater strategic understanding on the WOT by carrying the fight outside of our borders, where the enemy can die worthless deaths in desert wastes and not US shopping malls, theaters and stadiums.

Kerry has never picked up on this, and neither has any of the rats. It is a singular testament to their overall incompetence and inability to lead this nation.

The guy makes me so angry. It can only help the GOTV effort.

So now the rats HAVE to do something to defuse this situation. The longer they wait, the more this is going to explode.

The situation is demanding of something MAJOR to take the minds of the people off their idiocy and depress the growing anger towards the rats of the GOP base. The rat's situation demands imminent action...

Good point, DB. I was saying to Nopardons that this will be the first vote I've cast my ballot early. I was compelled to do so because of the urgency I feel towards denying the rats any power. I want to make sure I get my vote in there.

And he was posting something along the lines that I'm not the only one. The good side of this is that all indications are that most early voting is leaning towards HEAVY GOP turnout.

But yes, this phenomena effectively dissipates the impact of any last minute rat surprises.

Didn't Rove at one point give an impression that there would be an October surprise? Apparently that was a Psych-war only... Unless, it was moved to November...

There is no October Suprise from the RATS. These elections are local so any suprises are local and we have already seen them.

On the other hand, all th Republicans have to do is go with Security and economy on the national level. We have a more powerful message.

Well, if you expected it, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?

After all, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition...

Just as the Dimms have kept the Foley follies going, the Republicans need to keep the Kerry gaffe going every single day, weekend included, until the election. No retreat, no surrender.

ABC said Osama was/is (?) tracked down to a 20km x 20km box. Don't know if there's anything to it, given the media's stupidity etc.

Bush was driving drunk... Oops. Used that one already. Indict Cap Weinburger and suggest that Bush is to be charged too... Nope, used that in 1992. Find a gay Rebpublican congressman and expose him... Blew that load to early... I don't what it'll be - but they're sure to think up something.

Oh, I know. They'll bring up something about Bush's National Guard service... They'll discover that he secretly went to Vietnam and killed women and children, because Kerry was there and witnessed it. Hmmm Maybe.
