Yesterday Kerry said he was going to stand and fight and now he's running tail tucked.
To: Peach
But he's ALREADY cutting and running. From campaign appearances. I heard on the radio this morning that he's coming back to Boston and not campaigning for any other Dems -- not just today. :(
Someone upthread said he was still scheduled to appear with Casey in PA -- oh, how I hope he shows: Santorum can use the help!

I suspect what he meant to say was that if you study blah blah blah, "...but if you don't, like the President, you can end up stuck in Iraq with a failed policy." Would have been extremely weak, since Bush got better grades at Yale than he did (though neither seems to have been the scholarly type!). I suspect he was stuck back in the Vietnam "glory" days, when -- because of the draft -- students who flunked out lost their student deferment.

Thanks for the *PING*
This would be hilarious... if it weren't for Lurch's slap on the troops.

All Souls' Day is tomorrow..Nov 2....Today is All Saints' Day.
Many Protestant churches, including Lutherans, have fused both days into Nov. 1.
To: b4its2late
Sometimes candidates who lose elections sound saner and make more sense afterward. With Lurch, the opposite is true. What a POS he is.

"What's so funny about Kerry cancelling all campaign appearances today is it was just yesterday he was saying he'd stay and fight, that he was a real man, that he'd take "them" on anytime, anyplace.
But he's ALREADY cutting and running. From campaign appearances.
If he can't take on the voters, how can he possibly fight the terrorists?"
Moi Kerry was told to cancel his campaign stops and probably to shut up or he might end up in Marcy Park.
He is a full fledged coward, bully and traitor.

That is why conservatives have to be out there rallying to keep this story alive until Election Day.

Every republican congressman up for re election or the ones challenging the rats need to ask their rat opponents:
"What do they think of Kerry's remarks. Then demand an answer from them 24/7 until the election is over."
It is time to expose these back stabbing traitors in public so America will know their true intentions, a weak America and a weak military.

"Thank God his 2004 Presidential run was cancelled by the voters."
Amen. This latest act of this traitor makes that prayer more meaningful.
Thank you Lord. Protect our President, his staff and our warriors who protect us. Amen!

John Kerry, the Joe Pisarcik of the Democratic Party.
To: hole_n_one
This guarantees legs for the story. If it was no big deal, these candidates would want Kerry there with them.

I heard on the radio this morning that he's coming back to Boston and not campaigning for any other Dems -- not just today. :(
I heard on WABC Radio that he has cancelled Dem stops in Iowa, Penn, and a few other states.
Comrade Kuby (of Curtis & Kuby) defended Lurch by reading his "real" speech, which was written by aides, and how he just botched the joke and then went ranting about how Bush sent our kids off to die, which in his opinion is the real issue.
Curtis then asked sportscaster Warner Wolf to chime in...he claimed he was nonpartisan and never ever would vote or become a Repub and yes, it was a botched joke at Bush and an apology is in order. (what???)
Also, the NY Daily News (no friend of Conservatives) slammed Lurch on the front page with Kerry Kalamity.
To: Doc Savage
Look, the guys a dolt, but I have no doubt that he was trying to sound funny to these college kids.I am very much inclined to believe this as well, why? Well because it would be flat out STUPID to say this in public. I am sure the majority of Democrats feel this way, but I don't believe Kerry is an idiot.
Having said that, he STILL should have apologized, and then said that he mis-spoke. If he had come across sincere, instead of blaming Bush, Republicans, and Rush Limbaugh, I think the issue would have gone away.
