I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.
Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:
Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.
As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."
RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

"I wouldn't know, I don't listen to talk-radio drivel or
folks who claim to have talent on loan from God."
So you really don't know what you're talking about.
"Actually, Weiner hates everyone, so to focus on why he hate women would be missing the whole picture.
How long do you think a staff member on his radio show lasts?"
What a crappy job.
Yeah.
I don't need to put my hand into a fire to know it hurts.
I don't need to listen to some overblown egotist spout opinions at me to know they are bunk.
Drink that Koolaid, it's the really good "right-spin" Koolaid.
It's good for you!
I was out playin' and you pinged me back. The ilk are an embarrassment and ilk won't let a chance to divide go. You're desire to be unopposed is revealing your lack of character.
Tell me, do you think its possible that Savage is a phony? A 'caricature conservative', only specializing moving people away from the conservative cause? That is what I accuse you ilk of doing.
Cut 'er a huss, gunner, she was just looking for a way to hurt me. Don't mean nuttin'.
Did I mention any "talk-radio icons?"
I didn't post on this thread until I was included in 68grunt's hostile ping, to which I responded. And I'm not responding to the subject matter of the thread, but to grunt's wholesale slander of other FReepers.
Now, you're getting hostile towards ME?
As I recall, you were a good friend of Texas Cowboy. So was I. Otherwise, I don't believe I've had much interaction with you. Now, you come gunning for me?
Low class.
Looking at your posting history, all you do is insult and demean one FReeper after another.
And now you whine about YOUR hurt feelings to another male FReeper because you can't handle a one-on-one conversation with a lady?
Pathetic losers, the both of you.
You don't read very well, do you?
If you don't like what I say to your pal to defend myself against his idiotic ping, then tell him to take me off his ping list.
He's the one always looking for a fight ...
So you're saying you're not a Vietnam Veteran?
Uhhh.. it sounds rather more like a question than hostility.
"So you're saying that all veterans must neccesarily be fans of one or another talk-radio icons?"
I ain't gunning for anyone with that question.
I think you are over-reacting just a tad.
But for the record, I think all talk radio is less than worthless.
Look, I live in Southern California and I'm very concerned about border security. In the grand scheme of things border security will not be determined by who is serving as the CA AG.
Unfortunately, we still have a porous southern border because the Bush Administration has not made securing the border a high priority, which I find unconscionable and very dissappointing five years after 9/11.
Just like I asked him to cut you a huss, I ask you the same. He was simply stickin' up for a fellow vet. Btw, I was on the Texas Cowboy's good side and was certainly on his prayer list.
you've got that right just before an election he is telling us not to vote to sit out vote for the other party makes you think doesn't it
Do you think Savage is a phony?
Here's my message to both of you, since you're double-teaming me.
I couldn't care less that you don't like me. But, my advice is this: If you've already decided you don't like someone, then don't ping them. Stay away.
I only ping people I like. If you send out hostility, don't be surprised at the response.
I assume that Weiner, which is his real name, is pronounced "wine-er," and not "wiener." It seems to come from the German word "Wein," which means wine--something Michael once said that he doesn't like to drink.
My California Ilk Herd ping list was done by copying the pings lists of the weakest of the herd, the one who pings for help and re-assurance the most. As I was whipping the list together I questioned whether you should be on it, simply for being pinged. Then I recalled a thread from the previous day where you held a tone much like you're using now. After a wee mental debate I left your name on. In retrospect, I'm glad I did. You know, the only FReepers that complain about being considered ilksters are the ilk.
thanks for that post as a CA resident knowing brown I appreciate that one
