I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.
Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:
Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.
As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."
RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

This message is: Hey, if even Michael Savage has given up on Conservatives, why bother voting on November 7?

The bashing of Savage as too shrill is very shrill.
Remember when Dick Gephardt resigned and gave a tearful speech - and Savage would say "Go ahead and play the clip - I want to make fun of Gephardt again"?
The timing of this is suspect given that it's about 10 days from the election, and the talkshow host in question has been a vociferous critic of the GOP in general, and President Bush in particular.
This election is all about mobilizing or suppressing the respective bases for each party, as well as those within those bases who might be considered "wobbly". The article should be read in that context.
Kind of like the Reverend Phelps (of that Moonbat Baptist church in Kansas) of the airwaves, huh?
LOL:) I missed that one unfortunately but, I remember him making fun of Tenet when he was boo hooing when he was leaving.
Uniformed ones? No.
What right thing did he do to get rewarded?
Moonbeam was for far more than a satellite
I have to admit I was a faithful listener but lately I haven't been able to stomach the guy for more than a couple of minutes. He's been bashing Bush unrelentingly lately and Republicans. Can't listen to that s**t, the MSM/DBM is there for that.
> My sister in law, who is totally apolitical, went with a friend to see a Micheal Savage show. She came away not liking conservatives <
Bingo! Savage achieves his purpose once again!
Weiner fan calling someone else a moron? That is a badge of honor.
Yeah - I, um like mine BOILT. Yessur, nuttin lak boilt peee-nuts, yeesuh, boilt is thownly way ta eatum.
Here's a link to a thread that gives a lot of reasons Brown was Governor Moonbeam.

That's a smoking gun.
>What exactly does Savage advocate that isn't conservative?<
Rabidity.
You are correct. He also appears to be quite good at what he is doing. I was willing to cut his earnest fans slack for awhile. But when evidence starts piling in and they start acting like the OJ jury...well...I guess they get whatever is headed their way.
Most of us use "Wiener" because it is implies both "hot dog" and "dick."
The online comment is based on the linked thread to a National Review writer David Klinghoffer. He is a noted author as you may know, as well as a NR staffer.
