Still, he did something that Savage thought deserved a small reward for. Why can't we reward a politician, any politician, for doing the right thing?

Oh yeah. They called Jerry Brown 'Governor Moonbeam' because he had the outlandish notion that California, the world's seventh largest economy, should have it's own satellite.

Why can't we reward a politician, any politician, for doing the right thing?

If I look hard enough, I can probably find an isolated vote Hillary has cast in the Senate that I agree with out of the many, many votes she has cast. I guess then I should contribute cash to her campaign to reward her for "doing the right thing"?

If Savage wanted to reward Moonbeam for the military academy, he could always send the money to the *school* - not Jerry's AG campaign.
