This poll is BS. There is no such thing as an "Independent." Independents are only Democrats who are afraid to reveal that they are, in fact, Democrats.

The best way to deal with TIME/NEWSWEAK baloney is to ignore it. Who reads these rags anymore, anyway? The only place I ever see them is in my Doctor's waiting room.

We know who puts out this stuff. They are just shilling for the DNC.

44% Republicans and 55% Democrats polled. I'd say the poll is hugely skewed to Democrats.

I agree, all I had to see were the words Newsweek to know it was BS.
I wonder why freepers post them. Unless, its to get a few laughs.

Let them go ahead if they take power. They are salivating to do it. They put their own fate on the line. They had better hope that they are not in the middle of impeachment when the next terrorist attack occurs or they will have basically ended their own party.

Until I switched to Republican to vote in the primaries this year, I was a registered Independent. I always got far more calls and mailings from Democrats and groups like moveon.org and ACORN, etc. than I did from Republicans. My guess is at least 80% of people who claim Independent are Democrat, and at least half of those are so far left they're more Green or Communist. About 15% of Independents are probably Libertarian, and maybe 5% are Constitution.

Surprised the answer choice didn’t include: “like, yeah, ok, fur-sure”

I think that impeachment is the desired outcome and the reasons for it are merely an afterthought. The idiot left sees this as the most efficient way to handle political discourse these days, because they lose at the polls.

Did you see their last week's cover with Bush & Rumsfeld? It made me laugh out loud. It was nothing more than a cliff notes edition of Bob Woodward's crappy book.

Hey, if a majority of Americans truly wanted to impeach Bush, the Democrats would make it a cornerstone of their campaign this fall.

Anyone mentioning it besides some super-safe Dems talking to a small group of moonbats?

Bingo. All they are doing with this sort of tripe is driving more and more Republicans to the polls November 7th.
