You may see the Republicans try to convene based on the contested results, assuming that shows them winning, and move legislation to take the question out of the hands of the courts.

Bet on it...

My daughter is in much the same boat. She is trying to raise her four children, has a new job, and watches very little TV. She will vote, but it is not high on her list.
We don't have any major races to deal with (except for gov in NE TX).

The President has made mistakes in Iraq, blah, blah, blah. He won't admit his mistakes, blah, blah, blah. We need big changes, blah, blah, blah. If he did this, blah! If he did that, blah! If he had eggs for breakfast, blah, blah, blah. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO'S REALLY SCREWING UP IN IRAQ? Newsflash: THE RADICAL MUSLIMS.

If we DO NOT PULL TOGETHER AGAINST THE REAL ENEMY WE CAN KISS AMERICA GOODBYE. That's all. That's the problem. That's the solution. Any questions?

"I think Pelosi has joined the Witness Protection Program." I heard they used a disguise (perhaps one of these?)

No offense taken, but I was referring to FNS' dismal ratings which partly was due to the lame guests chosen & not up-to-date questioning. (what is this everyone asking the dems talking point about one-on-one discussion - many times astutely explained by the admn.) If Wallace start asking the dems why is it good now when talking one-on-one failed when Clinton ruled.

You are preaching to the Choir. Part of my job over there was to get the MSM to come to do stories on the GOOD things we were doing over there.

Only ONCE did that happen...Dana Lewis at FNC came out and even then it was to cover a raid in Abu Ghraib (the district NOT the prison).

Now I did 79 stories over there and I'm only one person.

How many do you think the MSM could have done but chose not to?

At least it is the same country. Also to clarify I do not mean that women should be controlled by men.

As it well known one of the men I admire most is Dick Cheney and there is noway you can describe the women in his life as weak. They are strong women with careers in their own right and as a real man this does not threaten or make him look any less masculine.

I think the oldest granddaughter as well is out of the same mould

DBM has felt it necessary to grotesquely under sample Republicans in their polls and basically say to hell with logic in explaining that.

That may not be true.
Less people are self identifying as Republicans.
That doesn't mean they will vote Dim,
All it means is that when a 1000 phone calls go out a smaller percentage claim to be R's.
However, this is not a national election. Its a County by County election.
The results of these preference polls are not telling of very much except less people claim to be Republicans this cycle than the last.

Understood. I just don't see any of these shows asking lesser committee members to appear with the same credibility.

I'm listening to FNS now. Biden is withdrawn while Levin sticks to his talking points. But, these two cannot dominate the sound bites as much since their committee chairman is sitting there next to them. Unless Democrats win the Senate, they remain in the minority, carping from the sidelines.

Biden has aspirations so he's not as vocal today. Levin is crazy with power but no future expectations other than running a committee.

Yes, and her aide, Larry Hanauer, who has had his security clearance taken away by Rep Hoekstra (head of House Intell Comm) has hired Jonathan Turley!

Harman may have other problems besides the NIE leaks - she's also being investigated by the DOJ for a possible relationship w AIPAC:
