I like YouTube for the interesting and informative stuff that you might miss (sports clips, rare or old rock videos, amusing home videos of animals, etc.) from other sources.
Here's a recent screenshot of a page from Youtube........
Anybody notice how much exposure Keith "The Democratic Party Clown" Olberman is getting on Youtube?
According to my precise calculations 25% [4 of 12] of the TOP RATED videos are of this supercilious clown.
Somebody is voting [Nod, nod, wink, wink] to get this stuff pictured prominently.
On other ocassions, with the addition of out-takes of stuff from David Letterman making jokes about Pubbies / out-takes of the Colbert Show making jokes about Pubbies / The Daily Show making jokes about Pubbies / etc. I've counted this percentage to go as high as 40 to 50%.
Just an observation.

I don't vote and I'm not a member, but You Tube does have a collection of really good videos, particularly some performances from a few of my favorite artists that I can't find anywhere else. Those are what I particularly like to view. Watch Keith Olberman? Nah....bad enough he's on tv where I can watch him much easier (but I don't wanna). :)

I just flagged the Keith video (the first one) as inappropriate...since they now have a HATE SPEECH category...I'm going back to the others now.

I read elsewhere on FR that videos can now be labelled as "Hate Speech". So, if Olbermann's rants (or Scarborough's) are featured on utube, just label them as hate-speech, over and over and over. :-)

I don't know if there is a pinglist for You Tube FReeps, but I was alerted to a particularly obnoxious vid and responded:

I seldomly freep polls because I think it is largely pointless (too many polls are rigged), but I'll go flag a vid on U-Tube or give it a poor rating - it only takes a moment and we do have a wonderful resource here that could be used this way. I don't know how effective our combined voices are at this site, but it might make the hosts stop and look.
Should someone put together a U-Tube ping list I'd gladly put in...
