Its time to vote straigh Democratic ticket [Zot!]

Posted on 10/20/2006 3:44:01 AM PDT by Polliwag

I can say without an iota of hesitation or regret that I will cast a ballot for a Democrat for only the third time in my 26 years of voting. The only Democrats I ever voted for were Ann Richards for governor on TX against that quack Clayton Williams and for Lloyd Bentsen for Senator from TX.

Due to my total disgust with the way the Federal and the state governments have conducted themselves and how they have failed to act in the interest of this country, I will proudly vote a straight Democrat ticket this year and as a vow to myself, for the next 20 years.

The only exception to this is that I will vote for Kinky for governor because he is the only one I don't view with contempt over their past actions.

Now if only 30,000,000 others out there who are fed up with the corruption, the inaction on border security, the mess in Iraq, the immigration issue, the ever worsening health care fiasco in this country, the incredible spending binge undertaken by Bush and Congress, the Internet gambling ban and the contemptible and disrespectful way in which the GOP views the American public (except for those writing them big checks and paying for all their luxurious lifestyles) will do the same thing, we can start the revolution that will begin to turn this sinking ship around.

Brilliant plan!

I always thought that the first shot in any revolution should be straight into one's own foot...

The thing is the troll missed and hit its head (or wherever what passes for its brains resides).

Your post says much more about you than anyone you are voting for or against. You are fortunate there are no strict educational and mental competency tests for voting.

Yeah, I'm not going to vote for Republicans because they're acting too much like democrats, I'm either going to sit out or vote democrat, that will teach everyone. Voting against my party for behaving too much like the anti-American, anti-Constitutional dregs of the democrat party by letting them win by sitting out or voting for them directly. Honestly, some people are to stupid to vote.

While I shudder at the thought of democrats returning to power, I'm even more livid at the thought of the current RINO leadership maintaining the same. I hope every conservative in this country joins me in burning the RINO-neocon infested Republican party to the ground. While that action may seem drastic, putting the democrats back in control will allow us to accomplish two objectives:

- a chance to rebuild the party with real conservatives

- a chance for the sleeping masses in the country to see the insanity of the democrats

Accomplishing these two objectives will then allow us to rebuild our party with real Republicans, real conservatives. And once we've been able to rebuild our party, we will steamroll the democrats once and for all. And once back in control, we can begin to undo whatever real damage (if any) the democrats do over the next few years.

So, strike a match - vote democratic.

(and, as an added bonus of giving control back to democrats, Conyers will push for (and hopefully succeed at) impeaching bush. If there's ever been an arrogant, tongue-tied dumb-shit whose earned impeachment, it's George W Bush)
