It was a UK plot, but this made me think of it. It was related to the threats against US financial institutions involving limos, IIRC, from a few years back.

They are planning it for this week because the terrorists are scared of Brian Urlacher...he can wreak much more havoc then a dirty bomb.

I know sleuth. I hit for a minute over there and realized once again that if my mama had raised me as a liberal, I could not be a DU'r due to the language. Well, that and don't think I could stand to live in a basement.
BTTT and placing a bookmark next to ya. On a side note, I had flipped the t.v. to one of our Alaska stations out of Anchorage and then forgot about it. Well, that Montel Williams show came on. I never watch it, but today I left it on and he had that psychic, Sylvia Brown, on the show. Near the end of the show she and Montel were talking about how much stress we're all in (referring to terrorism) and Montel asked her if we should be worried right now, between here and Christmas. She said, no, at first, but then she went on to say that the only thing she's concerned about is "trucks, yea, trucks coming in". He asked her if she meant like a bomb on one coming across the border, or something like that, and she said, "well yea, you know, you could stick something under a truck and have it drive into the city".
Anyhow, for the psychic believers, psychos and others, I'll just pass that lil ditty along. ;)

Something about the threat doesn't ring true - why would they plan on attacking 1 p.m. and 415 p.m. games?
Presumably, if the attacks on the east coast took place, the games in the west would be stopped before much of a crowd arrived at the stadium.
Given how 9/11 went down, I just don't see it - (which is not to say that the Republicans made the theat up, etc...)
I read that the website where the apprarent threat originated is "thefriendsociety" That makes me feel better because I've never heard of it. I just am a little nervous that I might have postulated the same scenario on another thread other than freerepublic, but I don't think I did.
