WASHINGTON – Another Pakistani journalist is reporting receiving another threat – this one from a senior Taliban leader – warning all Muslims to leave the U.S. in anticipation of a major terrorist attack before the end of Ramadan.
The head of the Islamabad-based al-Quds Center reported receiving an audio message from Mullah Masoom Afghani urging U.S. Muslims to get out of the country "because Allah's punishment would fall on America in the month of Ramadan."
Muslims are observing Ramadan this year Sept. 24 to Oct. 23.
Jamal Ismail is the journalist who received the message. He formerly worked for al-Jazeera. He told the News of Pakistan that he received a phone call Oct. 5 from Afghani.
"Afghani said he was speaking from somewhere in Kandahar province," reported Ismail. "In it, he advised Muslim residents of America to get out to escape harm because the U.S. could face big attacks in the month of Ramadan."
Ismail said it was the first time Afghani, who is head of the pro-Taliban cleric's consultative council and former ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan, had ever sent such a message.
"Afghani didn't say that it was a dream," recalled Ismail. "It appeared that he strongly believed that America was going to face punishment at the hands of Allah."
Last month, WND reported the new al-Qaida field commander in Afghanistan called for Muslims to leave the U.S. – particularly Washington and New York – in anticipation of a major terror attack to rival Sept. 11, according to an interview by another Pakistani journalist.

Yes, that would be horrific, but the Mall of America is only one location. The scenario that I have imagined involves hundreds of Wal-Marts across the nation. Imagine, if you will, hundreds of suicide bombers doing their thing at the same time. Let's say 4 PM eastern time on Saturday, 3 PM central, 2 PM mountain and 1 PM pacific.
The only problem that I see here is finding several hundred terrorists willing to blow themselves up. That seems to not be a problem these days.
I do believe Muslims would be in danger from Americans after an terrorist attack in this country more so than the attack from thier own kind.

this guy says the United States could face big attacks durning the mouth of Ramadan. im not a doc of this stuff and this is only my opinon but wouldnt you want to make it more omminous that saying "could" especially after saying we would?
we must also look at how extremist look at "Allahs punishment", remember back durning Katrina they said Allah was punishing America for bad policy and the city of homosexuals? im sure some are over there looking at the natural disasters in Buffalo, Hawaii, and to a extent Houston (Flooduing) as Allah's punishment.
lets hope our tax dollars are working hard for us and the FBI/CIA/NSA is working overtime to keep us safe. We should also keep in mind that Al Qaeda has a propaganda ring which is running overtime.
I want to know if there is any evidence of mooselimbs leaving the country on airplanes. Especially one-way tickets. Does anyone know someone in the industry they can ask?

They are upset if we have the Olympics ( 2012) during Ramada, but seem to find perfectly fine to commit terrorist attacks against innocents during Ramadan.

Terrorists did strike before the elections and Spain and got a socialist, weak on terror "leader" elected, as a result.
They may think they can do the same thing in the US and get the Dems elected, because people will suddenly flock to the "surrender party", to save us from another attack. So it's not unlikely at all, that they are planning a devastating attack. And I hope with interrogate the captured Al Qaeda to the full extent to get any and all info to prevent such attack. Will the Dems take responsibility, if there is an attack that could have been prevented by a more aggressive interrogation of the terrorists?
It won't work that way here -- I hope.
