Audio: Cindy Sheehan says she planted her uterus in Crawford; Update: Illegal?
A colorful metaphor, perhaps?
Im afraid not.
Update: The person who recorded it says it comes from a book signing in Palo Alto. Hes working on finding out the exact date. Also, its been slightly edited.
Over the summer I had a hysterectomy, and um, I got my parts back. I thought I could just [inaudible] on eBay, you know, [inaudible] Cindy Sheehans uterus. And so I planted it in the garden where the bush, its a pretty bush Its so funny cause me and my children, well always be a part of, of Crawford, Texas. Long after people forgot the horror of the Bush regime, long after, you know, were forgotten. Well always, our DNA will always be in the land
Update: Commenter RLW surfed around in the Texas statute books and found this:
(A) Human materials removed during surgery, labor and delivery, autopsy, embalming, or biopsy shall be subjected to one of the following methods of treatment and disposal:
(ii) tissues or fetuses:
(III) interment;
We go to the definitions:
(31) IntermentThe disposition of pathological waste by cremation, entombment, burial, or placement in a niche
(9) BurialThe act of depositing a pathological waste in a grave, a crypt, vault, or tomb, or at sea
(27) GraveA space of ground in a burial park that is used, or intended to be used for the permanent interment in the ground of pathological waste
(10) Burial parkA tract of land that is used or intended to be used for the interment of pathological waste in graves.
" bet the uterus blooms are beautiful in the Spring!"
Wish you hadn't posted that picture. I will never be able to stroll through a garden again without breaking up in laughter.
sick, sick, sick
"This story has the makings of a Stephen King novel."
When you write it, please remember me, your best friend in the world. :)
ROFL
I have to remember that one.
ping -- you guys should be able to do some kind of letter on this
All together now - (replace Rosemary with uterus )
.....
She talks kinda lazy
And people say she's crazy
And her life's a mystery
Oh, but love grows where my Rosemary goes
And nobody knows like me
........
It keeps growing every place she's been
And nobody knows like me
If you've met her, you'll never forget her
And nobody knows like me

Your photo of Cindy Crawford was blessed relief from the ugliness of this thread. So much so that I prayed,
"I thank Thee, Lord, for vouchsafing me, Thy most humble servant, this blessed vision of Thy creation, and of some of the beautiful things which Thou hast made!"
Anyway, the anticindy and her uterine antics remind one of the old tune,
"I'll send my sinuses to Arizona,
I'll send my liver to Peru,
I'll send my lungs to Colorado,
But I'm sending my heart to you!"
;^)
She's a gift!
Wonder where Jean Francois Cherie buried his prostate ... Hyannis Port, lol?
This just goes to show how mentally ill she really is.
The mental image of the title is barf mateial ...
Disagree totally.
This is the type of thing, sick and demented as it is, that the public needs to understand about "Mother Sheehan" perpetually professional victim that she is.
Someone that would do something so bizarre as to plant her uterus in Crawford, Texas probably is mentally deranged and needs to be pitied rather than admired.
Ever time she gets air time, it just reinforces that idea that Bush is normal, rather than the reincarnation of Hitler as the looney left claims he is.
I'm thinking lobotomy...
This is one vile, bitter woman.
I think you are right. I really don't think a hospital can do this. Her uterus probably went straight to the pathology lab. After testing to rule out any sign of cancer it was probably disposed of in accordance with regulations. You can be sure there is no shortage of those in Texas or anywhere else.
Gross
Written and sung by Merle Haggard
I hear people talkin' bad, About the way we have to live here in this country, Harpin' on the wars we fight, An' gripin' 'bout the way things oughta be. An' I don't mind 'em switchin' sides, An' standin' up for things they believe in. When they're runnin' down my country, man, They're walkin' on the fightin' side of me.
Yeah, walkin' on the fightin' side of me. Runnin' down the way of life, Our fightin' men have fought and died to keep. If you don't love it, leave it: Let this song I'm singin' be a warnin'. If you're runnin' down my country, man, You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me.
I read about some squirrely guy, Who claims, he just don't believe in fightin'. An' I wonder just how long, The rest of us can count on bein' free. They love our milk an' honey, But they preach about some other way of livin'. When they're runnin' down my country, hoss, They're walkin' on the fightin' side of me.
