WASHINGTON -- Sen. John Kerry says he deserves a second chance if he decides to take another crack at becoming president.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who lost to President Bush in 2004, said it is a basic principle that "Americans give people a second chance. And if you learn something and prove you've learned something, maybe even more so. Now, I don't know what I'm going to do yet. We'll make that decision down the road."

Kerry's run in '04 was his nth chance (where n is a large positive integer) to prove he's not an idiot. Is he showing up for work these days?

John, you lied to me before. You said that you would sign a form 180 to release your military records? Why should I believe you now?

I saw him on c-span today.... He was preaching his liberal misunderstanding of the Bible. He said the bible says Heal The Sick therefore national health care is a must. Is he that theologically ignorant. Liberals sound ignorant when they try to use the Bible. And he sounds very fake.

Still have extra "Vietnam Vets Against Kerry" bumper stickers left.
He is the only American in the NVA hall of fame/war museum. Perhaps, Rassman can explain this time why he was relieved? The IV Corps Mike Force still has members alive, and; no they will not back Rassman. They will back El Supremo. Not Rassman. John Kerry, tell us how you became assigned to SOG? Tell us all about your SOG OPS?
YOU CANNOT.

Still indecisive. And that continues to be Kerry's problem. He seems incapable of rendering a decision. And when he finally does, he later regrets or tries to change it.
In the Presidency, John, there are no do overs. You have to have the courage of your convictions. But that assumes you have convictions.

"Those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture, don't have the judgment to be President, or the credibility to be elected President.
No one can doubt or should doubt that we are safer -- and Iraq is better -- because Saddam Hussein is now behind bars."

I first met John Kerry when he was 19. He dressed like an assistant professor (tweed coat, unnecessary patches on the elbows). He made it a point to hang around with students who had more money, more social status, or more political power, than he had.
In short, he was from the get-go a suck up who had a very high sense of what he was "entitled" to, and a vary low sense of what anyone else was "entitled" to.
I sincerely hope that he gets the nomination in '08. This time, it won't be close.
And I hope that in his will he has given his ego to Yale Medical School.

Two sad comments:
This is the best the DNC could come up with. Hey, I know we don't think they're all that bright, but they do comprise about 50% of the population and this was what they agreed on as their leader.
Kerry came very close to winning. Even with a completely lame candidate, almost half the people of this great nation throught he was a better choice.
I think I'll go pour myself a stiff drink (or two).

He wants the presidency to codify to the rest of the world just how 'special' he is. What a narcissistic jerk.
To: avacado
Anyone who can't convince America's citizens to elect him President should not be going around bragging how he would negotiate peace with the terrorists.
What a loser.
