I don't know about that.
I'd vote for her just because I can't stand Nelson, but I do like sanity in my elected officials.
If she passes that test, it isn't obvious to the rest of the world.

Dude, I like Rush as much as the next guy, but please tell me you aren't so dilluted that you actually think he ever has audited himself like that.

Look Dude .. I'm not like your "dude" if you get my drift!
Actually, Rush doesn't AUDIT HIMSELF - there are organizations who do that type of thing - FOR EVERY PROGRAM. Like get a brain!

...She chose to give up her "safe" seat in Congress to run for the Senate.Just my take, but ambition got the best of her.
My take too. I think her seat in the House will stay GOP, so it could be worse.

"Florida voters disapprove 59 - 37 percent of the job President George W. Bush is doing. Voters say 55 - 28 percent that the U.S. is losing the war in Iraq, and 44 - 39 percent that the U.S. is losing the war on worldwide terrorism."
Crap like this just underscores that there is something wrong with these polls. Florida is the STRONGEST GOP state in the country. The rat has virtually NO chance in any of the statewide races except Senate. We will win by big margins all up and down the ticket, again except for the Senate race.
As far as Harris losing by 80 points or whatever ridiculous number they want to say: Bull shiite!
it is simply not structurally possible for any Republican to lose by more than 10 points in Fla. for a simple reason: It is not possible for a Democrat to win statewide by more than 10 points. Nelson is NOT a nationally known rat figure. He has zero star power so there is no extra draw for him. The pre election final poll numbers will be so dismal for the rat in Fla. that many rank and file rats will stay home. How can I say this? The very poor showing in the Fla. rat primaries, that's how.

It is frustrating to see states like North and South Dakota, Montana, Arkansas, and Florida, (7 RAT Senators) keep electing liberal RAT Senators.

Um, no. The Qunnipac poll was a scientific poll, the one the Harris campaign cites was a $25.00 buy-in straw poll at the equivalent of an ice cream social.
It's a shame we couldn't find a conservative with a real shot to run this race.

She's a real conservative. I would think that would make ya'll happy. Not some electable RINO. For some reason RINOs don't like to vote for conservative politicians. But they sure like to lambast conservative voters who express any hesitation about voting for RINOs.
Why is that?

I'll throw my vote away to the hot Momma who looks good on the horse with a solid conservative record anyday. "Throwing away" being the operative term here. Instead of getting a less-than-perfect Republican who will at least caucus with the party, we get a liberal who will work against it.

Good poll for the FR Harris haters, but it is still phony. Nice try bet the mix is +15% Dims.

"Florida is the STRONGEST GOP state in the country."
Your whole argument is a house of cards. No need to respond to the rest of your post if you honestly believe what I just quoted.

The Panhandle, particularly minus Leon County, has less than 10% of the population of Florida.

Well, go ahead and show us some 'realistic' numbers, with backup, please.

The embarrassment is that Florida Republicans haven't gotten behind her instead of bitching about her being the candidate. She won the primary, meaning she was the preferred choice of the Republican primary voters.
If you aren't going to support her in the general election, then don't gripe when she loses.

Why couldn't Floridians nominate a candidate who could win?
Because the Florida GOP wanted to just coronate someone. This is what happens when the state party leadership and the rank-and-file have a fundamental disagreement on who actually runs the show.
The Florida GOP leadership should be ashamed of themselves.
