A group of House Republicans called Wednesday for a congressional investigation into the improper handling of classified documents by President Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger. Berger admitted last year that he deliberately took classified documents out of the National Archives in 2003 and destroyed some of them at his office. He pleaded guilty in federal court to one charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material and was fined $50,000.

Never too late to dig up RAT skeletons! They play this game all the time and it's about time the Republicans fought fire with fire.

If the Repubs play this right, they can drip drip drip this one and make it last right up to election day.

The DBM will never allow this story to see the light of day. Down the memory hole it goes.

Berger already pled guilty and since the RATs want to play "Bush should have got Bin Laden" then it's fair play to try to find out what Berger stole.

Saw Berger the other day; interviewed by John Gibson/FoxNews. . .thought I was watching 'Saturday Night Live' just by his being there. (And said as much in e-mail to Gibson. . .)

So it seems that 'check the pockets' Berger is OUT and about; and criticizing Bush's Korea policy while defending the indefenseable policies of Bill Clinton. . .

He has long deserved this investigation. . .too long, in fact. Guess our Repubs; when push comes to finding themselves at the bottom of the Capitol steps - just before Election - are now, ready to shove. . .

Gee....talk about a delayed reaction.

Seems the GOP is the dinosaur party....whack it on the tail and it takes 6 months to register at the brain.

He should permanently loose his security clearance

Yeah, he should. He committed a series crime! It's hugh, I tell you!

Or maybe he should "lose" his clearance?

Someone noted on here the other day that lately, a lot of people seem to be using "loose" when they mean to use "lose". What gives?
