Talk about a sore loser [Kerry "Joke" About Assassinating President Bush?!?!]
The American Thinker ^ | October 8th, 2006 | Teri O’Brien

Posted on 10/08/2006 7:15:42 PM PDT by Enchante

Still, Mr. Clarke’s inevitable performance, and make no mistake, that’s what it was, failed to win the “Statement Most Likely to Delight the Moonbat Blogs” that night on Bill Maher’s show. That prize goes to the droning, long-faced junior senator from Massachusetts, John F. Kerry

After telling Maher that he and Te-RAY-zuh went to Vermont to celebrate her birthday, Kerry and the condescending comic had the following exchange:

Maher: “You could have went [sic] to New Hampshire and killed 2 birds with one stone.”

Kerry: “I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.” [delighted applause and laughter from the crowd]

Clearly this offensive statement has one thing going for it. For once Mr. Long-Story-Longer said something in less than five minutes, the meaning of which was crystal clear. It was designed to appeal to the people of the ilk of the silly passel of goofs who created the embarrassment that is Ned Lamont. It echoes the crazed musings of Cindy Sheehan. In her book Peace Mom, released last month, she writes of traveling back in time to kill the infant George W. Bush. Others on the left speak, write, and even make a film about the assasination of George W. Bush. Floating the fantasy of assasinating him plants the suggestion in the minds of millions. Just like seeing a school shooting on TV seems to trigger others to act out their own fantasy, so, too, this indulgence in sending out the message of assasination could have unfortunate consequences.

Put Lurch and GWB in a boxing ring with gloves on and let them at it. My $$ is on Bush to kick long tall pansy a$$ and settle the matter.

Kerry: “I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.”

I read this as Kerry admitting he has no stones.

Well we disagree. You don't know how the audience interpreted it. You can't read all their minds. Just because they laughed doesn't necessarily imply only one particular interpretation. Again - much ado about nothing.

That's photoshopped . . . Registered originally did it as a joke, but then somebody took his trademark off it.

There is a genuine photo of Kerry & Fonda together, but it's not this obvious.

I think John F'in Kerry's quip is more disgusting than all of Foley's instant messages and emails put together. The only thing Kerry is fit to lead is an army of pond scum.

Oddly enough, this is NOT the first time John Kerry has been associated with talk of assassinating elected American politicians who did not have the right political views.

His pro-Communist Vietnam War group discussed killing the Congressmen who still supported the war. John Kerry tried to distance himself from those statements during the campaign by claiming he'd already left the group by the time that talk surfaced but it was shown to be another of Kerry's lies.

Oops, Didn't you mean, He should expect a visit from the Secret Service....

He should but it won't happen. I know this to be true because they never showed up over Klintoon and his Oval Office abuse. And they are much too busy now seeing how many Republicans they can hang over the Folley mess.

Can you say double standard.

I also dislike clintoon to the max. But I wish him a long life. I really want him to see what historians have to say about his depraved and fanciful attitude toward the Presidency. He thought it was an 8 year party; now we're paying for it.

I used to wish Monica's Dad would show up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave with a baseball bat calling the bent one out but then I saw the girly-man on tv and realized we lived in opposite worlds.

If Monica were my daughter, I'd of demanded satisfaction.

"What other meaning could it have?"
----my first thought on reading it was that he was implying (echoing Clinton) that were he in the WHite House instead of Bush, bin Laden would be dead long ago. I can't believe even a feckless idiot like Kerry would, even to showboat to an idiot Maher audience, talk about killing Bush himself.

#30----In that case you must have missed Joe Biden during the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearings. I truly wish I had taped it. It is the high water-mark for political vacuity and self-love.

I don't believe anyone is 'twisting it'. IMO the thought had to be in his head for him to come out with it so quickly. Usually there's a long hesitation before he opens his mouth and says anything.

He was just trying to be witty. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I think he meant it as a double entendre, but who cares. I'm all for Kerry continuing to run his mouth because he just gives us more ignorant quotes to use if he actually tries to run again.

Treason and sedition against this nation seems to be the democrat party platform. How many of these jerks have called for the President assassination?
