DES MOINES, Iowa --Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry lashed out Sunday against a group that bashed him during his last run at the White House.
Kerry, who made a weekend appearance in northwest Iowa, said he is concerned that Swift Vote Veterans for Truth is again resorting to "the politics of fear and smear." The group, financed by Texas conservatives, ran commercials questioning his claim of being a decorated Vietnam veteran -- the centerpiece of his presidential campaign in 2004.
"We're not going to give them an ounce of daylight," said Kerry, who is considering another run at the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008.
The senator said his response to the commercials was not strong enough.

Well...nothing but the best for Mr. French. ;o)
Ah yes. ...That must be one of those 'Less-Than-Honorable-Discharges' we keep hearing so much about whenever John Kerry's missing military records are mentioned.
yeah ok John, now take your carrot and go play in the corner
Doogle
:)
Who's "we"? Could be the royal "we," or it could be him and his buddies in the MSM. Either way, bring it on!
Something tells me that doesn't mean his records are going to see the light of day. This would be such a simple issue to put to bed. In the words of the immortal Paul Belaga, Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kinda cool, excluding the law part of course.
Jacque Kerry is soooooo yesterday!
LOL...

Swift Vote? is that a typo or a clever avoidance of slander?
