The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has blocked enforcement of a state law that requires voters to show identification and would-be voters to submit proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
The general election is Nov. 7, The law had already been used for the Sept. 12 primary and in some municipal elections.
State Atty. Gen. Terry Goddard said he would appeal.

That one was expected. Hope a higher court will overrule them before Nov.

How do we get the 9th Circuit judges OFF the bench?

Who would have 'thunk' they would so something like this.

Meanwhile, here in NJ when I go to renew my driver's license next month, I have been informed that I will need to present MORE identification than just my expiring license (which has my picture, signature, name and current address on it), the renewal form mailed to me (with my name and current address on it, and my current US Passport. These three together will not be sufficient to identify me. I will need one more document, and I will need to provide some additional different document as proof of my address.

Why is the left always against HONEST ELECTIONS? So they will be denied an opportunity to commit mass inner city voter fraud??? And whine and bawl like crybabys?

Still, you have to show an ID to get into their courthouse.
I suppose you could write a state law that simply cited the ID requirements applicable at the federal courthouses.

"The ninth circus"
It's not just the 9th. Activist judges that do not care about the legitamcy of voters and their rights to have their votes count are doing this crap all over the country. Georgia voters just had their rights trashed too.

Is it true that Vicente Fox appointed all the judges on the 9th Circuit?

But that is still better than letting people register to vote without proof of citizenship. If your driver's license is our id when you vote it needs to prove who you are and that you have the right to vote. The Dims are registering everyone who promises to vote for the Dems. We need to make sure that illegals are not voting.

Don't forget - a lot of people (30-40%) and especially those in california LIKE the 9th circuit and their wacky rulings. The problem is to get voters to grow up and like being americans more.

Why is the left always against HONEST ELECTIONS?Because of PAST fraud.
You see, if we bring some legitimacy into our elections, the results will be so skewed when compared to previous elections that the fraud will be evident for all to see.
That is the real reason why Democrats are desperately trying to stop Voter ID in all its forms.
