CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

I like Neil , but despise gloom and doom Fox News
And beer.
What happened?
Stop hijacking the thread.
Forging Vietnam era documents in Microsoft Word didn't strike me as professional, either, but then... no one ever said Democrats were professional.
The timing screams professional if not the methodology.
You know, this would explain why the dems have not expounded on any, I mean any issues. This and the Woodward book and the national estimates were their plan. Perhaps more to come. But in terms of governance they offer nothing.
I wondered about all of this last night when I read that Edmund was on the campaign staff of the Republican in Oklahoma. It sounds like he wants a career in politics. For him to knowingly leak these to the press would seal his fate politically, at leat in the Republican party. I knew it had to be a Dim dirty trick of some kind. I just couldn't figure out the how.
Keep digging indeed. Let's EXPOSE these, er . . . I mean, let's UNCOVER . . . no, . . . We should PROBE . . . . definitely not.
You hold on to dirt for three years only if you plan on slinging it at the person at some point. At this point we don't know what else this person was doing with his "dirt".
Have you seen this?
If you met this kid, you would say that he has it coming to him. He is no naive kid and in fact quite unlikeable because of the arrogance. I would bet he would do any dirty trick if he thought it benefited him.

The Foley set-up starts to break open
Drudge has a world exclusive, as most readers already know.

They have to get up a lot earlier in the morning to pull this sort of thing off these days. The MSM may be dumb but we arent.
Present state of playthe Dems and CREW are implicated; ABCs Brian Ross has his own Rathergate, the FBI and Ethics Committee are going to find out which Dems were involved and CREW will probably lose their tax exempt status. The Dems have shown themselves to be perfectly willing to use homophobia to win when they have no saleable platform or issues; the Republican base is charged up and once again Soros turned his gold into Dem dross.
Foley will become a living example of the Dems willingness to smear a homosexual for gain and will write a book, go on Oprah and make a mint. He will be this years wronged victim. Mark my words A fit ending to a sordid smear. Clarice Feldman

They were too busy going after the President
Because he (Foley) was not playing a prank. He really wrote (and meant) some or all of what has gotten him in trouble. The people who were playing a prank were some (or all) of his "victims".
I didn't say that.
Actually, I think I'm going to call it a hijacked prank.
Pelosi is evil.
That face lift she got on senior discount day stretched her scalp and pinched her brain. She's a dope.
Who will the Dems sacrifice on this one. Who will do the Marcy Park Walk to protect Hillary?
Soros goal is to get President Bush out of white house. He spend 24 million and still spending to get it done.
Good pick Neil. This wacko is wayyyyy out in left field.
