When a Monroe teenager first contacted a member of Rodney Alexander's staff about email messages from former Florida Congressman Mark Foley the young man asked the staff member not to say anything. But once a reporter contacted Representative Alexander, the congressman said he had to report the incident.
The young man in question says he wants all the media attention to just go away. "He's in school and trying to understand whats going on," U.S Congress Rep. Rodney Alexander said. "He is upset, needless to say, and his parents are concerned."
Out of Washington and in his Monroe office, Representative Rodney Alexander is one of the few people talking to a Monroe teenager pulled into the latest political scandal. It's a scandal that has some making threats on the young man's life. "There are some people out there that think this young man is responsible for bringing down a member of Congress," said Alexander, "but we know that is not the case."
Once a champion for protecting children from online predators, Foley's email to a Monroe teenager asking for a picture, eventually lead to not only his resignation from Congress but the discovery of alleged sexual messages with other teenage boys. "There are emails and messages out there with severe implications," Alexander said. "Sexual implications that this young man did not receive."
Alexander says his main goal is to protect the young man's well being. One way he is doing that is by asking the media to shift the focus from one teenager. "There are other pages sponsored by other members of Congress," Alexander said. "No one is saying what did they do? What did they know? How did they try to stop this?"
Hopefully questions that will be answered as the pieces of this political puzzle continue to fall into place. Representative Alexander says the young man's parents are very concerned and upset by the attention on their son. Some wondered if Rep. Alexander will face a political backlash during his re-election bid for turning over the email that set these events in motion. He said, simply, he could.

My thoughts exactly; and surely a hollow. . .shallow. . .wishy-washy'. . .and somewhat obscure if not empty statement on this kids behalf; which in turn, gives one pause if not the feeling that the truth here; is not being shared.
AS per . . .comments by RATS that their "plan" and hard work was successful and as per emails that look fabricated in order to exploit Foley's sickness, not just to have him removed, but to use as an election time exploit to damage the whole Republican side. They certainly were not supressed to protect naive young boys.
For sure. . .and waiting for at least a few Repubs to quickly move further 'into' this story. . . (and the FBI as well. . .or at least, Bush's friends at the FBI - if he has any. . .)

Let's hope the FBI do not overlook these less than truthful exploits.. . .

Alexander used the word "email" this morning when of course, he meant to say IM.
We don't KNOW who Foley was corresponding with when he talked dirty in the released IM.
We should take the original 16 year old Page's word, that only the released "birthday" email was what he had an issue with.
Of course the former Page is upset. He knew NOTHING about the latter released explicit IM.
It's a conversation that implies he is gay and enjoying the banter, when in fact it was between Foley and SOMEONE ELSE...Darn right, the kid is upset.

Don't you love how the "outers" have managed to show that (1) pederasty is normal in male homosexual behavior and (2) homosexuality manages to pass like vampirism (Foley's "priest" excuse).
Funny about how that works.
of course, none of this excuses Foley's behavior.
But there are other truths about what really happened here. its just too perfect to have not been planned and thought out in advance.
we know nothing about the machinations behind all of this - and I frankly doubt the FBI will investigate any of that, because it would be seen as "attacking the innocent child" who is the accuser in this case.

I'm sure the MSM would like to cozy up to him so they can rub their nose in the filth a little more. They're not exactly into privacy.
I just found a few dozen names, emails etc of ex-pages. I have to tell whoever is in charge of the site to remove it. I was shocked how bad it could get for some of these kids.
