A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Welcome to Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. For those who start counting the days on Monday until the weekend, we're halfway there! So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

That is a gorgeous bird! It does look "painted". One of God's loveliest gifts is the glorious colors that He so perfectly placed on the canvas of this world!

We have pretty deep blue scrub jays here in the Central Valley and pretty hummingbirds and tiny colorful goldfinch, but nothing like this painted bunting.

For now, two dogs are plenty but I'd like to have a dozen more. :)

I am too. She's obviously not a "new" artist....just new to me. I just hadn't come across her paintings before, or, if I did, didn't pay any attention to the artist.

I like the subject matter in her paintings; wildlife and Native Americans, and her dry brush technique. She's very talented.

Lori, it is funny but auditory is my fourth sense.. (in order) and I often miss the impact of music in movies.. AND I missed it in this video even though I saw it twice. (will watch again later & listen for music)

If I am doing a music only function (like symphony or listening to CDs) I am centered on the audio, but if I am doing other things I will have the primary sensory prevail.

Many people don't realize the four major senses are ordered for them. For me the order is Visual, tactile, olfactory & then audio

I love Bev Doolittle.. her hubby also paints the "camouflage" work.. I would love to have a couple of her works someday, there are so many of them that I like.

Well, I'm one of them who didn't know. How do you know how your senses are "ordered"?

So would I, but after taking a look at some of the prices on her work, I am thinking that won't happen anytime soon. LOL.
