WASHINGTON, October 4 (Itar-Tass) – As for to day Russia “has no Iegal obstacles to deliver nuclear fuel to Iran,” Nikolai Spassky, deputy head of the Russian Rosatom nuclear agency told reporters on Tuesday.
“We normally work in the framework of international law which is international agreements signed by Russia and resolutions of the UN Security Council,” Spassky said noting that today there are no such resolutions limiting nuclear fuel deliveries to Iran.
However if the United States adopts a law limiting partnership relations with countries cooperating with Iran and if this law affects relations between the two countries in the sphere of nuclear energy “we would revise the situation and react to it,” Spassky said.
The official stressed that in cooperation with Iran “Russia strictly observes al the resolutions by the UN and the IAEA.” He said that Russia would deliver nuclear fuel to Iran before the Bushehr nuclear power plant is launched late in 2007 but only “if Iran signs an agreement on the return of spent nuclear fuel.”
“If by the end of 2007 there are no international norms prohibiting us to deliver nuclear fuel to Iran we will do it,” Spassky said

The Iranian tyrants view Putin as an infidel too, but since Putin is only concerned in fighting US through Islamic and communist proxies, plus all that dough which continues rolling in via all those Russian arms sales from OPEC's Iran, thus he is not all that concerned about the madmen of Iran stabbing him in the back. I wonder if Russia thinks it can work with the Islamic fascists to defeat us and then try to take over their countries? Very worrisome when you see all these Islamic/Socialist alliances springing up all over... (China, Venezuela, Syria, Iran, Russia, etc...)
It is just trying to figure out who is using who. I think it is the Russians using Iran and Syria to stir up trouble. And, the Islamic world know that Russia and China would have no qualms about destroying them, unlike us western countries, who are seen by the Islamic world like paper tigers.
