Top 40 radio station KDWB-FM in the Twin Cities has apologized for an on-air comedy skit called "Muslim Jeopardy."
The skit included an announcer using a fake South Asia accent introducing contest categories such as "infamous infidels" and "potent portables," according to the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, which said it had received complaints about the skit.
The skit also included a threat to behead a female host when she got an answer wrong, CAIR said.

I haven't listened to KDWB in at least 15 years. It's gotten all hip-hop. But I find this humorous - especially the part about the beheading.
But this doesn't surprise me that Dave Ryan (the morning show host) would do this.
Comments or opinions - anyone?

The only time you see a happy, smiling, laughing muslim is just before they strap bombs onto their children to kill the infidels!

CAIR is whining.
What else is new?

After what happened in the Amish school house today, I find the Mohammetan whining all the more irritating.

"We regret that listeners found the Muslim Jeopardy comedy skit of one of our on-air hosts to be insensitive."
Sounds like they deided to go with the Pope. They don't regret the show. They just regret some found it insensitive. Ok...now that we've passed the point of no return, it's time we start saying what we really mean. "Who gives a flip? Get over it!"
I want to see more of this type of comedy.

They apologized? What a bunch of wussies. I thought the Hip-Hop dudes considered themselves more macho than that.

Hi All- CAIR is so pathetically predictable I don't even know why they bother commenting on stories in the news. They should just have a seven-word press release stored on their outbound voicemail and as an autoreply on their e-mail system:
"We are offended, God willing. Allah Akbar."
That would save them additional hassle each day, since they're offended by darn near everything coming down the pike. ~ Blue Jays ~

Sticks and stones may break my bones
but words shall never hurt me.
However, beheading does hurt at least temporarily.
There is simply no comparison between the words and symbols that offend muslims and the beheadings and homicide bombings that offend me.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to behead Tom Bernard yet, BTW.

Muslims, you've chosen to live in a free country. Free speech can sometimes be offensive, but get over it, or go away.

If it had been a skit about Pope Benedict XVI, would there have been an apology?
I guess not.
