I'm as politically naive as they come...obviously.
I never considered Foley was gay...and he's been a Florida congressman for how long.....YEARS!
But now I realize I was involved in FLorida politics from the outer edges....
..always ready to make a phone call or hold a sign, attend a rally, etc.
Obviously, there were those in the know in Florida politics who knew he was gay from the gitgo and thrust him into the political arena anyway.
Even though no one ever accused him of being a RINO, and actually being pro-Bush, he was a liar of the first degree.....hiding his real self behind layers of lies.....his whole life is a lie.
Whether RINO's or false facades/gays....both are going to bring the GOP down, because when we compromise, WE LOSE!
I am so mad.....and feel that's exactly what Florida GOP is doing again by thrusting Charlie Crist as governor!!!! (he's 50 yrs.old, not married, no children, and I've heard rumors even at my local Rep.Women's club)..WHICH I finally joined a while back, but stopped attending, as it's messed up too!....but if I heard these rumors there, surely surely there were those in the know who knew about Foley way back when!

This guy on WABC radio just stated "It's unreal that this Woodward book says that Bush didn't do enough, and the same ones waving it around are the same ones who advocate cut and run".
