Did anyone notice that Darfur commercial that ran twice on Fox News Sunday? At the end, the commercial implored viewers to contact Bush to stop the genocide now.

LOL that struck me as well, the utter hypocrisy of lefties. Are Kurds less human than the folks in Darfur?

Newt is a smart guy, but he's never been a team player and never will be.

Woodward and Bernstein are still working in tandem, it seems....Carl Bernstein is working for Vanity Fair...you know, where Tim Russert's wife is an editor. Here's an article Bernstein wrote: Senate Hearings on Bush, Now

The subheadings: In this VF.com exclusive, a Watergate veteran and Vanity Fair Contributor calls for bipartisan hearings investigating the Bush presidency. Should Republicans on the Hill take the high road and save themselves come November?"

You're right. Amnesty International; NAACP; several Jewish groups. Notice they have a donation's page? But of course.

This really is a cheap shot at President Bush.

Very close. I think it is primarily a PR function for the congressmen to tout to their constituents...you know, photo ops and stuff like that for "Local kid goes to Washington".

A lot of people are forgetting that the last time Woodward's name was in the news this much was for lying to his bosses at the Post for his involvement in the Plame affair.

The American Party and the anti-American Party.

That was laid out pretty well in the last exchange of the first panel segment on FNS. Juan launched into the typical liberal diatribe against tough interrogations against terrorists, and even raised the equal protection argument in the 14th. Brit, somewhat incredulously, asked if Americans and enemy combatants should get equal protection. When Juan implied yes, Brit asked if our detention of hundreds of thousands of German POWS in WWII was immoral. Juan said that was a different kind of conflict.

And that is the chasm that separates the two parties in a nutshell. The left simply does not see this as a war for survival of the West, and IMO often sees this as a conflict that is punishing the west for perceived sins of opression of the poor huddled masses.

Right --- hold your nose and vote for DeWine and tell your family and friends to do the same.

Voting for Brown is UNTHINKABLE!

Card has already gone public to refute what Woodward said. Woodward apparently based his contention that Card "wanted" Rumsfeld fired on the fact that Card had Rumsfeld's name in a notebook he carried called "the bump book," or something like that. The notebook had a list of names of people and who could replace them if they resigned.

The thing is Woodward is saying that was a wish list. Card says it was a practical planning document, like war plans at the Pentagon. Card implied he had virtually every name in the White House in the book, just in case.

Chip, chip, chip.

But the DBM won't pay any attention. They've thrown their mud and have "MOVED ON©"
