One Reporter's Opinion: Muslim Jihad Threatens the World!(George Putnam Opines)

It is this reporter's opinion that, like it or not, we are at war with the Islamic fascists/Islamic fundamentalists. They have declared war on the West, and they are dead serious!

Any number of politicians, including President Bush, claim (contrary to all reason and evidence) that Islam is a "religion of peace." But we are speaking of the religion founded by the violence-prone Muhammad. It was he who established the practice of CONVERTING at the point of a sword. Only now the method of conversion has changed. (Recall that recently, two journalists kidnapped at the barrel of a gun were forced to convert in order to save their lives.)

My good friend Burt Prelutsky, top-flight journalist and present-day historian, has brought to my attention a brilliant dissertation by Robert Spencer: "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)." I thought I was familiar with the subject until I read Spencer's frightening facts.

"For instance, did you know that

Islam teaches that Muslims must wage war to impose Islamic law on non-Muslim states.

American Muslim groups are engaged in a huge cover-up of Islamic doctrine and history.

Today's Jihad terrorists have the same motives and goals as the Muslims who fought the Crusaders.

The Crusades were defensive conflicts.

Muslim persecution of Christians has continued for fifteen centuries and still goes on."

People are beginning--just beginning--to speak out. I think Pope Benedict's talk and the responses to it have had a very positive effect.

Bush called Islam the Religion of Peace earlier. He's still looking for the right phrase, but his language has gotten a little tougher.

But the leftists still see the terrorists as allies in their war against the West. They will do their best to ensure that these more realistic views of Islam don't spread.

Those two journalists who were forced to convert at gunpoint and then recanted could well be executed for leaving islam in any number of troglodyte muslim nations.

Islam is an outlet for man's base violent nature and quest for power, and nothing else. It is not a true religion in any respect, other than it worships a satanic entity called 'allah'. But Satanism is not considered a religion, nor is witchcraft, which also believes in a power outside of the human person that can be tapped into. Religion is a relationship between man and God, where finding peace and salvation is the goal, and where man humbles himself to his Creator and thus lives honestly, humbly and peacefully. A cult on the other hand is a following of men who are either duped, coerced or born into believing in some evil power, and will do evil things to perpetuate the cult. The power behind islam is pure evil.

No honest, reasonably enlightened man can deny that islam is spread through terror and the sword, and that it oppresses and brutalizes its unfortunate adherents, especially women. Islam is a cult of darkness and perpetual unrest which keeps its followers living in medieval barbarism, unable to progress out into the light. Its theological end is an eternal carnal affair with virgins, so the very core of islam's existence is itself a non-spiritual thing.

"By their fruits ye shall know them". The fruits of islam are oppression, unhappiness, bloodshed and death. If we continue to view islam as a 'religion' and allow it to fester in our midst, we had better prepare ourselves to be subject to it in the future. If Westerners have any desire whatsoever to make the world a better place for our children, then islam must be driven back into the sand and the caves from whence it was hatched.

I think Pope Benedict fired off a second volley out of range of the press if reports of his meeting with Muslim clerics is accurate. An AP reporter:

"In his meeting Monday with the Muslim diplomats, he cited a statement made by Pope John Paul II during a visit in 1985 to Morocco in which he said "respect and dialogue require reciprocity in all spheres," particularly religious freedom.

This is a major issue for the Vatican in Saudi Arabia and other countries where non-Muslims cannot worship openly."
(Source: Pope: Tolerance must be based on respect )

If Islam is such a great religion, why is it more fearful of other religions than of God Himself?

I believe Islam must be driven further than you suggest. It must be wiped from the face of the earth completely in my opinion. Islam is at war with everyone and everything not Islamic.

I don't think that I've read a finer summation of the essence of Islam than what you wrote.

If in fact Mohammadanism is a religion of peace then why do not all the peaceful Muslims rise en masse against those who murder innocent men, women, and children?

Listen...is what we hear is the silence of lambs?

Or...

You pose a question I asked myself endlessly. I've come to the conclusion peaceful Muslims will not interfere with the slaughter of non-Muslims by militant Muslims for two reasons; 1) They approve of the methods of the militant Muslims; and 2) They cloak themselves as peaceful to hide, and thus protect the false perception of Islam being a religion of peace. The second reason is pure deception most western politicians have bought into. It is the worse of the two reasons I've accepted because it allows the savagery of Islam to hide within their ranks. The deception of "peaceful" Muslims is extremely dangerous.
