When flight attendant Eva Buzek returned to Minneapolis from a trip to France, five taxi drivers refused to take her home from the airport. The reason? She had two bottles of wine in her suitcase -- and the drivers were Muslims, who don't drink and refuse to have alcohol in their taxis.

"What a joke Minnesota is. /Sigh I guess I can add another city I will never go to."
Minneapolis is definitely not Minnesota.

She asked him to be careful with her suitcase because it had wine in it; she told him.

Sounds a lot like the pharmacists who won't dispense the morning-after pill.

the drivers were Muslims, who don't drink and refuse to have alcohol in their taxis. ...but if she'd wanted to mutilate her daughter, be a party to an "honor rape" or behead an infidel in their cab, it'd all be cool by them.

The real question is, will they object to me wearing my nice pigskin leather jacket while in their (their employer's) taxi. How about pigskin leather luggage?

Minneapolis is definitely not Minnesota. That's like trying to say that Los Angeles is not California.
Besides, the maps say otherwise.

There is much wisdom in your words:
Maybe, as a culture, this is what's wrong with these people. Drinking promotes friendly interaction of separate classes and genders. It enables forgiveness and co-mingling. Had the Brits not been drinkers, I guess they would still be seething about the Romans.

If they are this upset over a few bottles of wine, I'm guessing the sack of pork rinds would really have a "chilling" effect.

That's rich from a guy from New Jersey LOL. What a joke Minnesota is

Mussies have taken over the airport. Not surprising they run the cabs too.

If it's red wine and the bottle breaks, the clothes in the case would be ruined. I'd put it in a bag by itself.I'll have to remember that on my next trip to Germany, Spain. Portugal or Australia.

But if a pharmacist refuses to dispense RU 486 on religious grounds, the outrage from the left would be immediate and wouldn't stop until the poor guy was fired.

Some of the duty-free stores will pack bottles for you, in fairly secure boxes. If you were to visit a winery, it's possible they might offer something similar as well. My in-laws shipped cases of wine home while they were traveling abroad.

That can go both ways. If the market, aka the customer, specifies a culturally American infidel taxi driver, such hacks will step in to fill the gap, leaving the sensitive Muzzies with empty pockets. F'em.

Mussies have taken over the airport. Not surprising they run the cabs too.Yep. Most of the cabbies, "show me your boarding pass" screeners (not TSA) and people driving the electric cars for elderly/disabled people are Somali immigrants.
That being said, I did have one Somali cabbie sing nothing but praise for President Bush about a year ago.

That was really my first thought. These people don't know how to relax. No wonder they're so uptight. The Bible teaches us that wine in moderation is a good thing, and that life to a man "deprived of wine" is a substandard life.
Obviously the Koran doesn't teach this. I guess that's the net result of Satan re-writing scripture.
