It's a red state with a blue city that controls the elections.
I don't like the numbers anymore than you do but, that's about right for a Washington State sample.
Well.....she made her fortune at Real Media anyway....lol
Good point.
While dead people and felons do.

If you want on (or off) this Catholic and Pro-Life ping list, let me know!
... feeling about Cantwell, who apparently made her fortune in high tech and lost most of it when that bubble popped.
Cantwell, isn't popular in Seattle. For the longest time she was unapologetically in support of the WOT. That changed when she realized she was going to be challenged in the primary. Or so she thought.
She's about as consistent as Kerry. But she lacks the money that she once had.
McGavick will likely vote similar to John McCain. I'm not thrilled by this but still it would be a lot better than Cantwell.
You're not from around here, are you?
Washington is nearly as Red as it is Blue. It's very closely divided.
In 2004, after two recounts and a bit of fraud the Democrat candidate 'won'.
In 2000, Maria Cantwell 'won' by an extremely thin margin. And now many believe that she 'won' due to fraud from King County (Seattle).
In 2006, Mike McGavick has the issues, the momentum and the money needed to win.
Umm, No.
It's more like 39% Democrat, 37.5 Republican, and 23.5 Independant.
In the late 80's Washington was flooded with Californicators who brought their liberal politics with them. Now it is just a norther version (or perversion) of the Peoples Republic of California.
It got so bad there I moved to Indiana
Let me expand a little, Eastern WA is soundly red, but Western WA is a little California.
