Wednesday Warm Fuzzy Poetry
I like when Mother plumps up big and tight
She makes such a warm and inviting sight
A soft bed for the night!
Mother's fur is thick and as soft as silk
Whiter even than my lapping Milk. Made to cuddle
Think I'll just sit tight and huddle
My head fits so snug just behind Mother's ears
With my feather weight aligned along her spine
Snuggling close and dear, our fur entwines
I could roam all around and hide in the dark
But Mother would just pick me like a fallen Lark
A reality embarrassing and stark
Mother teaches me every day
The Rules of the Cat even when I'm at play
For we must all do things in our own special way
There are things to explore and perhaps attack
As I make my self comfortable atop Mother's back
Motivation is the thing I lack!
I am Mother's pretty little Princess
Far to young to do things in excess
Though more is sometimes better than less!
Mother surely puts up with a lot
From her rambunctious identical tot
I'm so very grateful for what I've got!
