Gald you liked my poem and photo. I tried to make it a Haiku, but the photo held too many possibilities. So I altered the format a little.
I fell a bit ill to the weather last month. My AF Reserve Unit was sent to a training base in Michigan for a week-long Chem Warfare Exercise. Spent about 3 1/2 hours in the cold, wet, windy rain in full Chem ensemble the day before we left to go back to Andrews, AFB.
The Chem ensemble (pants, top, mask, hood, rubber booties and gloves) is many things, but it is NOT water repellant!
It soaked through in about ten minutes. I and everyone else outside became Hypothermic and caught colds.
Feeling fine now.
