I looked and looked and couldn't find this. It is part of a series on various Dem & Rep candidates.

I was disappointed in how George preformed on Meet the Press the other week. I don't think he's the right nominee. (I don't know who is).

I'm proud that George Allen is my senator. He's a good man and he would make a great President. The fact that the Rat smear machine is in high gear against him should tell you that the Rats are SCARED TO DEATH of him. He would be an outstanding nominee.

George Allen, that is, the junior senator from Virginia, who agrees with Bush on most major issues. On their few points of disagreement, such as immigration and campaign finance, Allen sides with the more conservative Republicans who will dominate primary election voting. No wonder the Washington Compost and the rest of the presstitutes have become so invested in destroying Allen.

I was an early supporter of Sen. Allen but now he'll be lucky if he holds onto his Senate seat. His national chances are nil unless the RATs put up Kerry or Gore again. Hillary will eat him alive when it comes to the minority vote. Nope, his chances for the presidency are ca-ca -- macaca that is.

Gracie Allen would be more presidential than George Felix Allen and she's been dead for 50 years! Americans are tired of a George at the helm--only one of them have ever been top-10 material and that was the first George...as in Washington!

I don't think that Allen is going to be President, but it might be nice if he could defeat that anti-Semitist, Webb.

How long before someone tells us how Mitt is the next Prez....? I'm suprised it hasn't been posted, yet.

Next president? Of what? The Washington Redskins?

I really did like George Allen when I lived in Virginia. He was down to earth and common sense, but his biggest downfall is he has no pizzazz. No excitement = no presidency.

George Allen will never be President. Puh-leeze.

If Republicans decide to replicate the style and substance of President Bush... (just what we need-- another "communicator")
...when nominating a potential successor in 2008, they will likely choose another conservative named George.
There's the "conservative label" lie again.

I like him very much I consider him a friend, Allen says of Bush in an interview with The Examiner. And I know a lot of people like to criticize him. We even have Republicans distancing themselves from him because his approval ratings are in the 30s.
You know, he may be unpopular and down in all these surveys, he adds. But I just dont think you kick a friend when theyre down.

The Examiner is doing a series of "Meet the Next President" with Democrats and Republicans - so far they did Kerry, McCain, Giuliani and a couple of others. They are not endorsing anyone.

With the "Macaca" story and the 40-yr old retro "N-word" story, it seems that the MSM, including so-called independents like Larry Sabato and the AP, are taking Allen so seriously that they seem to need to marginalize him a year ahead. That speaks volumes for Allen - go Geo.
To: PghBaldy
While Allen is fine for the Senate position in VA, he is not even close to being Presidential material. His vote in the affirmative on the Hate Crimes bill did him in with most Republicans.

Meet the Next President: George Allen
YES, But first things first --- he's got to beat Jim Webb in November. If he does not, or even just barely squeaks by, It does not bode well for his POTUS chances at all.
