You did Fox's bidding on this show. You did your nice little conservative hit job on me. . . . You set this meeting up because you were going to get a lot of criticism from your viewers because Rupert Murdoch is supporting my work on climate change. And you came here under false pretenses and said that you'd spend half the time talking about . . . what we did out there to raise $7 billion-plus over three days from 215 different commitments. And you don't care.

"We're fully aware of Fox News' and Chris Wallace's agenda, and President Clinton came in prepared to respond to any attack on his record," said Jay Carson, his spokesman. "When Wallace questioned his record on terrorism, he responded forcefully, as any Democrat would or should."Jay Carson was the national spokesman for the 2004 Dean campaign.

"That's the difference in me and some, including all of the right-wingers who are attacking me now," Clinton said in the interview. "They ridiculed me for trying.
Does anyone know of a compilation of quotes from right-wingers, or left-wingers for that matter, criticizing Clinton for taking any action against Bin Laden?

So when he bombed Baghdad on the day of the impeachment vote -- that was because he thought Bin Laden was there in Baghdad?

Thankfully, over 50% of voters haven't.

I was shocked this morning to hear BOTH the main Los Angeles morning talk show hosts basically defend Clinton. Yes, Bill Handel (KFI) and Doug McIntyre (KABC) said Clinton has a point. Bill thought it was our fault that we made Clinton focused on saving his presidency over a silly hummer (which misses the point of him lying under oath). Doug admitted that Clinton didn't do enough and was distracted by Monica-gate, but equivocated with Bush not doing enough as well. Whaa?
As long as Rush doesn't support Clinton, I will have some faith that I didn't wake up in the Bizarro World.

I was listening to Wallace on Fox today and he said that after the interview with Clinton, he tried to make nice saying that he was just trying to do his job. He said that Clinton was steamed and would have nothing to do with him. Then he said that Clinton chewed out his staff.

Quick, sign him up for Katie! He may have blown it with Osama and Wallace but there's always Katie to help sooth the pain.Speaking of The Kosmetically Korrected One, you made me think: What if the person sitting in Chris Wallace's chair had been a FEMALE, and "get your bones on" BillyBong had done that REPEATED finger-INTO-the-knee invasion of personal space and harrassment and intimidation and raged move? That sick beetard.
Remember when Cankles got so freaked out when Rick Lazio "invaded" HER personal space by handing her a piece of paper?

Clifford is the biggest dog out there, hehehe.

I'd look for material from Senator Dan Coates, who was the only elected official that I know of who thought the attacks on Afghanistan and Sudan were questionable, and that just because of the Monica timing.
Gingrich, Lott, Helms, Burton and others were supportive and said things like "it's the right thing to do".
If Clinton was a lurker here he'd have gotten a different impression I'm sure, and I think Leno had some wag-the-dog jokes, but that's popular culture and not any sort of official condemnation.
The official word was "good job".

Yep, that's him. He is more right then left on foreign policy/economic issues, though more left than right on social issues. I was surprised to hear him basically supporting Clinton's words.

I would have loved to hear Wallace say - "So Mr. Clinton, you're saying that your administration did more about terrorism in 8 years than the Bush administration did in 8 months?"
