I'd look for material from Senator Dan Coates, who was the only elected official that I know of who thought the attacks on Afghanistan and Sudan were questionable, and that just because of the Monica timing.

Gingrich, Lott, Helms, Burton and others were supportive and said things like "it's the right thing to do".

If Clinton was a lurker here he'd have gotten a different impression I'm sure, and I think Leno had some wag-the-dog jokes, but that's popular culture and not any sort of official condemnation.

The official word was "good job".

Thanks. I'll see what I can find. Thus far the only criticism I can find is dealing with half-measures designed to bring Bin Laden to trial. These plans had failure written all over them...and deserved the criticism.
