By now, nearly everybody who cares has probably seen former President Bill Clinton's -- let's say 'animated' -- response to 'Fox News Sunday' host Chris Wallace's questions about his administration's failed efforts to demolish al-Qaeda before the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
But Wallace himself hit on the key media bias question ...
Trying to explain Clinton's hot reaction, Wallace said he read the transcripts of the ex-President's other media appearances in the last few days -- on NBC's 'Meet the Press,' CNN's 'Larry King Live,' FNC's 'On the Record with Greta van Susteren,' among other programs.
Wallace said he was "astonished" that none of the others even bothered to raise the terrorism question with Clinton, particularly with his team's attacks on ABC's "Path to 9/11" docu-drama.
Clinton sounded like a left-wing press critics with his repeated jibes at Fox as a "conservative" or "right-wing" outfit.
But what, besides liberal bias, explains the other journalists' total lack of interest in even asking a single question about Clinton's inadequate terror response?

Berger's dirty now. An appointment?? Naw, he, along with Joe, Valerie and Fitzy have all done the "Marcy Park Walk".
Sounds like Bubba threw Gorelick, Madeline and Clarke to the wolves today. That's my take anyways.
I heard it with my own ears. I will never truth that man again.
Himself ?
When will or will this interview be repeated?
In all fairness, who gives a rats you know what about the surplus, who cares about jobs and such.. There are bigger issues like national security and freedom.. Clinton and the Rats don't care about either one of them...
Bubba would throw anyone to the wolves.
Wife, friends...us.
I bet that Gorelick and some others have a silver bullet or more hidden for self protection.
Bubba is a bully and a coward, he goes after the weak first ( Monica, other interns...)
It's a good thing that Beelzeflubba didn't wag his willie at him like he did with Juanita Brodrerick..
I think I remember who the director of the National Archives was but if you do, please enlighten the rest of us.
For BJ has just stepped on his own legacy-building team's carefully crafted, exquisitely choreographed photo-op -- the "Clinton Global Initiative" (I can't help laughing at the narcissism in that name!).
The "Clinton Global Initiative," timed to coincide with the opening session of the UN, successfully attracted the do-gooder glitterati, the jet-set, and the cameras. Even Laura Bush was conned into providing a "contribution."
And now it is all overshadowed by this jolt of reality, the REAL Bill Clinton, a pustulent, menacing, mean, purple presence being beamed onto the TV screens and computer monitors of the world. (I just heard on Fox News that the Wallace interview has racked up almost 900,000 views on YouTube, today alone!)
Yes, we have seen the REAL Bill Clinton before. Most memorably he showed up in the infamous "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" press conference. There was also his taped deposition --the one where we learned that "it depends on what the meaning of is, is." There we saw Clinton in all his arrogant, narcissistic glory.
But we were supposed to forget all that, and to think that Bill Clinton had "matured." After all, he's had a "brush with death," as he put it, with his heart surgery. The CGI media blitz was calculated to make the world see Clinton as a great "statesman" now.
But that flimsy image is now burnt to ashes. The slickest PR team ever assembled (next to the one that pulled off the Camelot myth for JFK) must be near suicidal today.
I caught the very end of Russert's interview.
Timmy was much nicer than that mean ole Chris Wallace who mentioned the t-word.
lol
I can not remember the name, just the events.
I will look to try to find out.
Please let me know the name, as a web search would go alot faster with a name.
Let's see...That would mean higher taxes, numerous terrorist hits, smaller Military, ineffective CIA and FBI, killing babies, teaching homosexuality in the schools.
There was NO GOOD that occurred during that administration. It was just a big Dem Corp...raiding Fort Knox.
No, I think Cynthia "knew".
oy. is it me, or does life really resemble a bad movie sometimes?
During the Clinton years, life seemed very surreal. Like a bad movie you are watching and only because you already invested x amount of time watching and you think maybe it'll get better, that there will be a point. That's usually the time to flick off the film, walk out of the theatre and go enjoy the real world. Or zip off a letter to the film maker.
This was just sitting there, crying out to be repeated.
Arkancide
I think you've nailed it.
Clinton might not have a lick of morals, but he's got political sense and there was a reason for his performance. He's shown himself to be capable of putting on an Oscar winning performance and he just gave us another example of it.
Worth repeating bump!
