"He had eight years to confront Islamic extremism, four years to address Bin Ladens declaration of war on the U.S., and two and a half years to respond to the embassy bombings, yet somehow Republicans had three times as long as Clinton did to get him."

I hope that this puts to rest any charges of bias against Wallace by some of the folks out there in Freeper Land. Clinton had the nerve to accuse him of right wing pandering for asking about the elephant in the room.

I like it when Clinton wagged his finger at Chris Wallace and told him he was "smirking". Chris Wallace turned his head and laughed. Clinton slurred his words as if he suffered a stroke.

The only thing Clinton fought was for his legacy. The Clinton presidency was all about him.

re, the graphic; slightly relevant comment: I have a theory, tested over time -- actually it's not quite a law, but a very reliable guideline. And that is, that when someone accuses you of something outlandish, there is a strong possibility they themselves are guilty of something very much like what they are accusing you of.
Now, I looked at your graphic, I thought of all the ranting lunatics who say "Bush knew, Bush orchestrated, Bush flew the freaking planes by remote control from a joystick in Sarasota," and whatever else they say.
And I look at your graphic, and apply my law, and I can't even find it within myself to accuse the failed former chief executive of doing such a thing; but my law is reliable, and so now I contemplate, who knew what, when.
Now, I would never say about Clinton what the psychos are saying about President Bush. But I am now given to wondering if he knew enough to act...

What is wrong with that picture?
Bill Clinton wearing a wedding ring. Everyone knows that Hillary is a Wino and Bill is a Hino.

I hope this shocked Wallace enough into saying 'I can't believe this man was ever president?'

Wallace is a good interviewer; he reminds me of a software tester, trying to find the bugs in a piece of software during testing. He goes after everyone with "annoying" questions. It's a good thing.

When the director of the National Archives found out that Berger was being investigated by the FBI for stealing classified documents, the director's first call went to.... Bruce Lindsey.
That National Archives director was subsequently fired, but many suspect that before he left he likely destroyed the originals at Lindsey's request.

Remember when NBC ran the interview with Juanita Broaddrick, who told about being raped by Bill Clinton when he was attorney general of the state of Arkansas? The extent of the mainstream media's interest in the story was one feeble attempt by Sam Donaldson to get Clinton to comment on the accusation. NBC did not even mention that the program would be aired on its nightly news the evening of the broadcast.
The New York Times finally got around to mentioning the story on page 16, below the fold, in a hit piece attacking Juanita Broaddrick's credibility.

Gorelick ( and the 9/11 Commission Report Dietrich L. Snell was a Senior Counsel & Team Leader ) were put in charge of disseminate what information got seen by the full Commission.
So the woman who created the Wall which blocked the flow of information, was again put in charge of blocking information to the Commission which was charged with finding out why information got blocked.
