Today President Bush met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Waldorf Hotel in New York, reinforcing his commitment to a two-state solution to the Israel/Palestine conflict as part of his overall vision of peace in the Middle East, and First Lady, Laura Bush appeared as the opening speaker at the 2nd annual Clinton Global Initiative in New York, announcing a new African water initiative, providing clean water to sub-Saharan Africa.
Both Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and U.N. Ambassador John Bolton refused to respond to irrational and irresponsible comments about the President made by Communist Dictator Hugo Chavez (sounding like a Dem) at the (worthless) U.N. today.
The First Couple headed back to Washington D.C. and the White House.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!! We've got a STRONG President. Be PROUD!!

"And I mentioned to the President that more than 70 percent of the Palestinian population, they believe in the two-state solution, a state of Palestine and a state of Israel, living in peace and security next to each other."As always, Pres. Bush brings out the best in those he's with. But if Pres. Abbas is correct that 70% of Palestinians want a two-state peaceful existence with Israel, that 70% had better get busy and oust the remaining 30% who want to blow Israel off the map. Because if we eventually have to take a side in this, other than diplomatically, it won't be Palestine's.

LOL. You KNOW you're old when you can sing along with the oldies stationnot because your parents play it in the car, but because those songs were on the top of the charts, like yesterday.
Heck, it seems like my asymmetrical haircut just barely grew out for crying out loud.
(Thanks, btw)

I've got to say "AMEN!" to that, Bahbah.
Remove this piece of slime from our collective consciousness.....

I wonder if it frightens your average on the street Democrat that their national leaders sound exactly like two dictatorial madmen?
Think it bothers them at all??

I think in future appearances she should request that the ex-president should be seated at the side of the poium, instead of the rear.

Nope. Most of em think the same way. It doesn't disturb them at all that they agree with a complete nutcase like Ahmadinefreak. Because they're just SURE that President Bush is responsible for all evil in the world.

I completely agree. The majority have got to get a hold of the lawless minority if there is ever to be hope of a Palestinian state.
Our President is ever the optimist, though, isn't he?

Thanks for the dose. Both dad and I are outraged at what that dreadful man Hugo Chavez said at the UN today.
Dad commented to me and I fully agree they should have cut his mic immediately he made those disgusting remarks.

At the side of the podium, behind a modesty curtain, in a cone of silence.
Please.

Did you notice in the 2nd picture that while President Bush was facing frontwards and smiling, his eye was on the left of him....nothing gets by him!
I love Laura's suit. It looks like Fall. Clinton was over-doing the laugh gestures imo. I hope he was eaten up w/jealousy over President Bush having the most beautiful and smart wife! (His was behind the door when looks and smarts were being handed out.)

I doubt xlinton enjoys looking at treestumps, danamco.
And considering his taste in 'women' he's probably never seen legs as nice as Laura's.
Get your eyes OFF her, you pervert! She's married to a REAL MAN........not a slug like you.
