McGreevey Blames Parents' Straightness For His 'Immoral and Ugly' Behavior

Interviewed by 'Today' host Matt Lauer this morning, former NJ Gov. Jim McGreevey blamed the "immoral and ugly" way he acted out on his homosexuality on the fact that his parents were straight and thus couldn't act as role models.

McGreevey was on to promote his new book, "The Confession."

Lauer: "Not only as governor but as a state employee, you were living a very risky life-style. Anonymous sex with random men at places like highway rest stops. You write 'I was promiscuous and sexually active in ways I consider immoral and ugly, and I justified this by telling myself I had no other choice and that my sexual urges were irrepressible.'

Asked a sympathetic Lauer: "How hard was it to try to control them?"

McGreevey:

"In developing a gay identity, typically your parents aren't gay, so unlike other cultural minorities, there's no one there to tell you the stories, there's no one to give you a sense of your own identity."

You might call it McGreevey's variation on the old line: if you're parents didn't have children, odds are you won't either.

Typical. Always blaming their parents for their homosexuality while claiming they were born that way.

He is an embarassment to the State of NJ! What McGreedy fails to realize is, the reason for his resignation was not because he was gay, it was because he was corrupt!

He leaves and left the trash behind.

I guess the example his parents set in remaining monogomous and faithful to each other didn't take, since he, you know ... cheated on his wife and all.

The real reason was that when he was a little boy and his mommy made chocolate pudding, she would not let him lick the spoon.

This desire to lick chocolate pudding off a spoon overwhelmed him until he could not resist any longer.

Did McGreevey inadvertently make an argument against gay adoption? If straights can't serve as good role models for gay children, how can gays serve as role models for straight children?

In any case, isn't the gay argument that there's no difference between gay and straight love, that's it all about one person loving another? So why couldn't straight parents serve as good role models for responsible, devoted, loving behavior?

This pig was trolling for young boys in the neighborhood parks long long before he was running for public office. Seems everyone kept his secret, especially the MSM who excuses any deviant behaviour from their own kind.

Are these Matt Lauer interviews of the depraved going to be a regular segment on the Today Show? (First, the teacher who had sex w/14 yo; now, practicing homosexual governor who deceived his wife and children but blames his parents for his homosexuality.)

"...there's no one to give you a sense of your own identity."

How the hell can someone else give you a sense of your own identity??? And what does it say about a person who is so disturbed by a moral upbringing?

In other words, he admits he was recruited?
