This poll shows higher support for Friedman and lower support for Strayhorn than a recent Rasmussen poll did.

Why is Rick Perry so unpopular? I thought he was Dubya's golden-boy successor?

His proposed Texas Secretary of Energy just got pulled over with 1.5 lbs of pot and a couple dozen magic mushrooms.
It does make the antics of the Bush twins seem awfully tame.

Who is the current Texas Secretary of Energy?

We don't have one. But Kinky likes Willie's biodeisel company, so he'll put him as some sort of goofy spokesmen to promote his own company and pay him with my tax money.

I don't agree. I still think the Joker will come in 4th with Bell 2nd. He's a novelty but I don't think the vote will be there come Nov. 7. I saw an interview just a few days ago of UTA students even questioning his campaign because he doesn't provide details but rather glib one liners.
It will be interesting to see who the trial lawyers continue to place their money on. I can't believe they'll continue to fund Strayhorn if it becomes apparent she can't win nor take the needed votes away from Perry. My guess is they will go back to the base democrat and support Bell win or lose.

Willie may now become Pot tsar after his escaped in Breaux Bridge yesterday. The Joker first said he'd put Willie in charge of the Texas Rangers..... A dope head leading Texas's finest..... sheesh.

The Texas Governor's race is one wild, crazy race. If the anti-Perry vote could coalesce behind a single candidate, he'd be a goner. But it's not gonna happen.

Strayhorn would do better if she came out and admitted she's actually a Democrat because she has more charisma than Bell. And a bigger warchest and more name recognition.
But I don't know why I'm offering her advice. I want her to go down in flames so big that even Willie and Kinky can light their respective stoggies in them.

I think Perry will end up breaking 40% in a 4-way race, which is really quite impressive. I'm discounting the independent voting percentages some because of their turnout problems.
