According to Zogby's latest poll of likely voters, 34 percent tend to vote Republican, 37 percent tend to vote Democrat and 23 percent are "not sure". Considering the 3.1 margin of error, and if some of the "non-sure" voters turn right, the Republicans are in good position of staying in Control of Capital Hill. (If the positive trend in the polls continues, the Republican "will" stay in control of Washington after November).
By it's self, it proves nothing, but it provides evidence in that direction.
LOL...We should conduct a poll to see what Repubs think about that.
The MSM keeps forgetting or distorting the fact that Congressional Races are local and there is not this tsunami of anti-incumbant feelings out there as they're trying to portray. In '94 there was a wave because of a combination of factors including a shift of the bounds in districts because for years the inner cities were extremely overrepresented while the burbs laid at the mercy of the ghetto reps.
Ziggy played guitar......
Zoolander's Zon!
Is this the classic "Dems peaking to early as the Republicans start the upward trend to peak at just the right time--Election day?" I hope so. I would love to see Republican pick up seats and totally destroy the democrats like Michigan destroyed Notre Shame.
He's a second cousin to Ziggy.
The numbers at Tradesports.com are moving up concerning GOP retaining control of the House! That's a big change over the past two weeks.
"Don't get too excited: I still think we'll lose 7-10 in the house and 2-3 in the Senate. "
with all the bad press/bad news etc even if we lose a few seats but retain control that is a big victory
hopefully it will depress all the Dem donors and voters thinking that even with all of this years perceived advantages they still cannot eke out a win
Or is it the classic "Zogby is about as accurate as flipping a coin"?
I would like this to be the case but I am not convinced.
I AM SO MAD THAT THE REPUBLICANS DID NOT GIVE ME WHAT I DEMANDED, I AM STAYING HOME.

Yep, and the GOP is gonna kick some liberal butt!
Dem theme: It's not who casts the vote, it's who counts the vote.

The link below is a time machine going back to October 2004 when the maggot infected mediots and their knee pad pollsters were declaring Kerry would be president:
They were wrong then and now!
