Republican firebrand Patrick Buchanan said yesterday that President Bush should be impeached for failing to stem the "invasion" of illegal immigrants across America's Southern border...

You really try to earn your handle.
"Future articles by Buchanan should be banned from FR."
You forgot the sarcasm tag.
He is the homeless bum on the street corner begging.
I give pat the rat the same worth
You do realize we're in the middle of a war and Bush is still Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, don't you?
Calling for Bush's impeachment hurts our troops' morale.
I disagree. I do suggest, however, that a "Barf Alert" tag should be added to articles in which he's being preposterous.

"Can we vote Buchanan off the island?"
That's awesome tagline material.
And you've been sniffing the fumes of your handle.
Talk about impeaching Bush is frowned upon here.
No he isn't!
No he didn't...You guys did...Yours does NOT seem to be the party of Eisenhour...
Deal with the statement...Is the Constitution wilfully being violated??? Is a violation of the Constitution an impeachable offense???
Well .. it goes back a lot farther than Clinton .. it's been ignored for years. To single out Bush is just plain ignorant.
And .. why not impeach the Congress for not DOING THEIR JOB.
Buchanan was mending his fences (so to speak) with his current book - which I've heard has some good info in it. Now, with this idiotic statement, he's blown all that away.
Couldn't get the darned page to open up so I couldn't read the entire text. I believe that we have been sold down the river by the prez and the senate on immigration. I do not believe that we should impeach Bush.
I disagree with you on future Buchanan articles. Even when he's wrong he's frequently thought provoking.
Pat Buchanan needs to go away. He is done.
I actually emailed this paper (news@edit.nydailynews.com) to demand a retraction.
" I do suggest, however, that a "Barf Alert" tag should be added to articles in which he's being preposterous."
I second that.
It is more like the Republican party kicked this crazy idiot out of the party, it was a great thing that the Republican party did.
What's that? You ask "Pat who?"
Not really....He has about 20 followers left, and he's good for a couple of laughs just like Cindy Sheehan. Just wish they would quit referring to him as a Republican or Conservative, the media is trying to make the GOP look bad.
Whatever happened to Reagan's statement "Republicans shall not speak ill of other Republicans" ?
