That is not true at all. Buchanan devotes an entire chapter of his new book, State of Emergency, to the problems that have arisen in Europe as a result massive muslim immigration to Europe. It is chapter 11, titled "Eurabia".

Mexicans account for over 70 percent of illegals, so it is no surprise that Buchanan highlights the problem coming from Mexico. The bottom line is that Buchanan wants ALL illegal immigration stopped cold.

Lots of you have ridiculed Buchanan for various reasons (some valid, some stupid). Few, if any, have challenged his assertion that George Bush has been negligent in securing the border or limiting the flow of illegals since 9/11.

About the closest thing is "at least they're not Muslims."

Ridicule is only effective when it makes sense.

Bush can't do anything about firing Dusty Baker, but he has not led (or even joined) the fight to do something about border security, something he is criticized for by conservatives, not liberals.

In fact, Bush's position on immigration isn't that much different than Ted Kennedy's. Last time I checked Ted Kennedy was quite liberal.

Buchannen tanked after he "was going to rip the bark of Bill Clinton" - and didn't. He was stilted and wooden. His political career ended with that.
