"Our Senate just gave the terrorists the go ahead, and waved the white flag."I wish we could ship them to France. They'd fit right in there.

Some of our Senate and it's not even gone to conference yet, let alone hit the floor.

I like the idea proposed by a fellow Freeper....
Why not have the Patriots in the House put forth a 'no confidence vote' on the Senate.

I would not doubt this would pass the entire Senate, if presented to the floor.

I disagree vehemently...
It may pass...because there are only a few votes separating the two parties...and the dems always vote together on this kind of stuff.
HOWEVER, I am sure that Cornyn, Sessions, Kyl, Frist, Chambliss, Bond, Inhofe, Grassley, Coburn...and even more that would NEVER vote for McCain's bill.

It may pass...because there are only a few votes separating the two parties I don't want to take that chance, and neither do you.

"hypothermia and waterboarding"
Poor fellows. Seems they have been subjected to the SAME unpleasantries that each and every Pilot/Aircrewman and special forces type in the US military is subjected to.
I don't know why the administration doesn't release this info to counter the MSM assault on these EFFECTIVE practices.
I saw the SAME Marine get the waterboard twice in a single day. He adamantly refused to give anything besides name, rank and serial number. He was used as an example by the instructors on what NOT to do. US troops are told to only resist to the best of their abilities...and not to risk death.

I doubt it. But Bush will veto and they won't get enough votes to over turn it.

I'm praying the President takes off the gloves.
He campaigned on changing the tone in Washington and it was a worthy goal but clearly hasn't worked. In fact, it's worse now than it was.
That's not the president's fault per se, but by not fighting back against the lies from the left, he's let them ramp it up to such a high volume that it's difficult for concerned citizens to figure out what's going on, so they've tuned out and missed a lot of excellent points and speeches the President has made.
So, memo to President Bush: Take off the gloves and stop playing nice. It's time to lay it on the line and your immutable classy way.

"Why not have the Patriots in the House put forth a 'no confidence vote' on the Senate."Hey, I like that idea. Maybe we voters could sign a "no confidence" petition and forward it to the Senate AND the media, too?
