Poor Hyde will nailed to the stake on all of the news talk shows now. He did a superb job telling it like it is! No he won't. The MSM won't report it since it points to Carter's ineptitude.

Carter also gutted our intelligence services in the 70's Reagan thankfully turned much of this around, but Clinton, using the end of the Cold War as his excuse, again gutted and all but finished off our intel services. "Peace Dividend"... yadda yadda yadda.

Yes, this is so "good".
Where, in the DBM, will it be seen? NOWHERE
If Nancy Pelosi farts, it's all over the press for everyone to smell.
Our message will never get out until the DBM is dead

"The GOPers are punching hard. First Bush, then Rummy, then Cheney, then Boehner, now Hyde."
Hearing Hastert and Frist would be nice, but neither is particularly effective with the mike.
They could at least memorize talking points, get airtime, and recite. Reid and Pelosi manage to.

Dim response:
"Not fair!" "Republican are going too far." "Sadly, some Republicans are launching negative attacks."

A little tell it like it is....... If only the Repubs would do more of it I think the public would get behind them thus giving the democrats a real pause to reflect on what they are doing. jmo They have been lately on the Senate Floor ... a refreshing change

I agree. I am hoping that we are beginning to see a definite change in approach. Lots of Pubbies speaking out and that is a good thing. I also think people will come around if they have things explained...and reminding anyone my age of Carter (ptooey) should do the trick. Lots of people kind of put his horrible years out of mind, but a reminder of his incompetence and malice should bring all of those 70's memories back!

For it was a Democratic President, Jimmy Carter, who presided over the seizure of power in Tehran by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, with a mixture of ineptitude and admiration. And it was Carters National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who oversaw this disastrous foreign policy. Instead of the improved relations the Carter Administration predicted, the Iranians seized our diplomats, who were forced to endure 444 days of captivity. They were only released after the Carter Administration negotiated a considerable ransom, when Ronald Reagan was about to be inaugurated. Damn.
I knwo the GOP usually hits hard only the few months before an election. But for the Reps, this is practically going nuclear. Then Boehner's statements that Dems would rather protect terrorists then Americans on top?
I mean, I like it. Really like it. But where did these Republicans come from? They are saying stuff we'd say. Rush would say. And not apologizing for it.
It is more than about time they brought Carter into this though, and started to trace the timeline of events for the American people that think this started 9-11. Uh-uh. This has always been a problem, but it was carter that really fumbled the ball and its spiraled ever since.

In his 1982 presidential memoir, Carter cited as his biggest mistake "allowing Ronald Reagan to become President of the United States." Yes, one of my biggest mistakes was allowing Jimmy Carter to become President. I also regret allowing Huricane Katrina to form.
My biggest mistake was allowing Mount Vesuvius to erupt and destroy the city of Pompeii. Things have just gone downhill from there.

Reid and Pelosi manage to.Reid is as dull as a wet cardboard box and Pelosi is as scary as a ripe Halloween pumpkin. None of that matters to the media who largely pimps the daily action line from the DNC.

Just about everyone slick willie chose for his cabinet was someone buried in the state department by carter. Clearly the most inept, anti american bureaucrats on the face of the earth. And just look up his good friend Anthony Lake on google and see what this evil man was all about.

The Democrats' opinions are often deliberate lies designed to confuse voters and destabilize consensus government. The Soviet Union's Communist Party used the same propaganda tactic around the world.
The Democrats are the enemy within. A vote for any Democrat is a vote for the enemy.

LOL. Hastert can be good, when he is so inclined. Frist is hopeless.

Carter's regrets and Clinton's apologies. Didn't Clinton apologize for the Crusades? It was something he hadn't done, so the apology meant nothing.
Here's a real apology from Clinton, Kerry, Fonda, and others: "I apologize for betraying my country at a time of war and enabling a bloodbath in Southeast Asia. Due to my actions, and others like me, hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese and millions of Cambodians were murdered by Communists. This was totally predictable, but I was blinded by my fondness for communism."
