Not funny. Is that what you do - go around making fun of things having to do with people's spouses dying? How many spouses have died in the last 50 years...and how many of the survivors had a colonoscopy on network TV?
I'll wait, while you do the math...

Maybe the fat Katie Kourik dragged down the slim one.
After seeing her doctored pictures, KK gives a real meaning to her place of employment: See BS. She improves the place because one can also Hear BS in surround sound.

I don't understand why people are looking for gravitas in the anchor chair. These people are just teleprompter readers.
I fault cBS for a half measure. Instead of Perky Katie, they should have hired the best looking infobabe they could find - at a fraction of the cost. Heck, I betcha they could get Bud and Coors to sponsor the news for megabucks.

You're forgetting the new music for her by the composoer of the music from the movie Titanic. As I said on FR at the time that was announced...sometimes the jokes just write themselves. :)

Let's not jump on the Bob is better bandwagon yet.He still had the sneering look, the raised eyebrow and the eye roll every time Bush, republican ,or conservative came up in the course of the "newscast".I also would remind you that he's still a good friend of Dan and always shows his subtle bias on fake the nation.Want a real news cast watch Brit.

YOu can say what you want... Bob was a 1000 times more suited to the position than Katie.
Yes Brit is the best "anchor" on TV today, no doubt.
That doesn't mean though that Bob wasn't far far far superior to Katie.

I was thinking:
"I'm Katie Couric, and you've just been PUNKED."
To: xp38
I didn't know that, how ironic?

" and she said something like "that is premature." I am sure some of you remember that. " yea,,,, premature just like that night ABC called Florida for Gore before the polls in the western part of Florida was closed, in effect, suppressing the Republican voters.
