9-11 is forever seared in our memories. I feel unbridled rage, anguish for justice, and frustration over not being able to catch Osamma Bin Laden--I want him caned and hollering for "Allah" before he is dragged through the entrails of swine, soaked in gasoline befo...on second thought I wish his execution to be like the scene that the burned guy had planned for Hannibal Lecture in the sequel to Silence of the Lambs (the one where the boar hogs were to kill and eat their intended victim).

Quote from James Lileks:
"If 9/11 had really changed us, thered be a 150-story
building on the site of the World Trade Center today.
It would have a classical memorial in the plaza with
allegorical figures representing Sorrow and Resolve,
and a fountain watched over by stern stone eagles.
Instead theres a pit, and arguments over the usual
muted dolorous abstraction approved by the National
Association of Grief Counselors. The Empire State
Building took 18 months to build. During the
Depression. We could do that again, but we dont. And
we dont seem interested in asking why."

Are they interupting their own movie for Bush or is ABC taking a pass?

Path to 9/11 was an excellent docudrama and those of us on the right should not be raising our noses to this attempt at telling the story. Shameless self promotion to explain my point.

According to Rush, ABC only cut one minute out of five hours.
Chew on that, Bubba!

I keep thinking of that wonder Muslim Man that alerted our embassy/CIA of the where abouts of the 1st terrorist that bombed the WTC.
He was so brave and risk everything to help America.

Not sure I'll post much tonight, as it was difficult last night to keep up with the movie and post, too. I missed some captions on the screen explaining people's names or the dates or where they were.
Tonight's scenes will probably be more readily identifiable, but I want to try to keep up with it better. May lurk, may post, whatever.

I'm drawing a blank on locating a list describing the content of scenes omitted from The Path to 9/11 - Part I. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance.
