I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.
I guess what I meant was that the this "clinton outrage" was a setup. ABC knew (and they did show the final cut to a select few dem./reb.viewers) that a tremendous amount of publicity/ratings would be generated from the clintonista's "outrage" over 5 or six scenes. free pub. a great marketing play by ABC.
ABC news is now saying that we have failed to kill UBL. However, he is neutralized now, which is better than where we were in 2000. I hope we kill the pig soon, just for closure. But I'm not sure what he can do any more.

It's kind of hard to "lower the boom" on *eight years* versus *eight months*. They can try, but it will look ridiculous to everyone.
Furthermore, it's also hard to "lower the boom" on two major invasions (Afghanistan and Iraq) versus lobbing a few cruise missiles. It's like comparing a peashooter to a cannon. Again, they can try, but it sure will look stupid.

That's what I'm afraid of. Do you think what you got is different then what we taped tonight in Texas? What I taped was exactly 2 hours 38 minutes long, from the first "disclamer" after the approximately two minute long intro preview thing, through to the end of the first half, to the second "disclaimer", at the end. So after that I guess they did their ABC spin with Clinton administration official George Stephanopolous putting his two cents in is a serious biased conflict of interests right there. Will Ari Fleisher or Karen Hughes be there tomorrow night for the half covering Bush's first seven months in office? Probably not. It will be George Stephanopolous agian, and he'll slam Bush on night two. What a crock. If ABC News had any shread of journalistic integrity or unbias reporting ability, Stephanopolous would have been barred from any appearance with this movie, since he's a Clinton croney.
Oh man, they're worried about the women and children. They're worried about Bin Laden getting killed. What a bunch of asses.

I agree. Abortion, environmentalism,etc., none of these is going to matter if we don't win this War on Terror. (However, I do think illegal aliens and border security should be considered as part of our national security.) Everything else just pales in comparison.

What we taped tonight was 2 hours and 38 minutes from disclaimer at the start to disclaimer at the end, with about two minutes before the first disclaimer showing a preview / overview/ intro thing that wasn't really part of the story. The other 20 minutes after the ending disclaimer seems to be ABC News discussion of it with Clinton Official / ABC News contributor George Stephanopolous, being totally unbiased I'm sure. Whatever.

Well that's what's so silly. This movie is closer to the 9-11 Commission report then anything the media says about the report. If anything is inaccurate as to the contents of the 9-11 Commission report, it's the media reporting.
