I've heard or read that Bush is hammered pretty hard too. ABC's version of "Fair and Balaced" I suppose.
If ABC wanted to really be factual they'd make reference to all the obstruction of Bush cabinet nominations that was going on and keeping the WH occupied in the 8 very short months he was in office prior to 9-11.
Wasn't Masood the man killed on September 9, 2001, by Al Qaeda Arabs posing as "journalists"? Does the movie depict that?

Anything is possible. I just think somone came to their senses in liberal America, and has decided to attempt to destroy Bill Clinton and the Democrat Party because they believe the current Democrat Party will destroy America, its freedom and its people. FDR, HST and JFK were moderate liberal Democrats, but they were not weak on defending the country and protecting it. This Democrat Party needs to be totally destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up. That is why is so important that all Pubbies, Conservatives, Freepers, etc. get out and vote this November and prevent the Democrat party from gaining control of either the Senate or House. If that happens the Democrat scum and traitor vermin will begin to violently squabble among themselve and destroy the party by their own hand. We must not let the Democrat Party gain anything this year!!! It is critical, not for politics, but for the health of the nation and our freedom, and our families safety!!!

Of course what really happened was that the top portion did collapse more on one side than the other, but then that part fell more or less straight down, canted over, as the floors below it pancaked. The upper floors, in both towers, were not destroyed during the collapse, but rather when they reached bottom.

This is MY take on WHY ABC decided to tell the truth. I honestly don't think ABC decided to tell the truth. Rush's friend, the writer, decided to tell the truth as did the director I assume. I do believe they tried to stick to the findings of the 9/11 commission.
However, ABC just assumed (as it always does) that the final result would put Bush in a bad light and exonerate Clinton. Do they ever produce anything else? I don't believe Iger had his eye on the ball (kept up with the script or project), and now he has to deal with this 40 million dollar monster and the Clinton mafia.
I think there will be some sort of "disclaimer" that they'll throw at the front end, "dramatization, blah, blah, blah..", but I suspect it is too late to really edit out key scenes.
With 3 kids, I had to learn how to"snoop" good! ;o)
